Well score and get points are different I think is what he's trying to say. Reinhart has 12 goals in 56, Drouin 9 in 89.

9 goals in 89 games with pp time. Yup hes failed to score. he got helpers on a high scoring team. Most people call them Padded stats. Ive never been big on him. People gushed over him dangling scrubs in juniors, doing things that wont work in nhl or even ahl hockey but outside of the hot dogging hes got some real talent. girgs for drouin is fair for what were looking for (top end scoring potential) and gives us versatility come future trades (ennis) and the draft.

I was all over him for the crap this summer, and as far as I know the alleged victim never rescinded her story that it happened...so I don't feel any differently about that...but I agree that this story seems too awkwardly timed. Why wouldn't someone come out with it around the time he was in the news rather than months later.

In regards to this, someone that I know is friends with the lawyer of the victim's friend that was at the house when the "incident" occurred. From what I was told, the friend retained a lawyer of her own because the victim wanted her to say something that never happened, did.

It is funny to me how some in our fan base fall in love and covet other teams prospects. Can't have all of them folks . And certainly not willing to overpay like some for them. He is a good player. If it what Tim Murray envisions in what he is putting together. I will leave it to the folks that are paid by Mr Pegula to decide. I just don't want to overpay and empty the cupboards.

I was going to lost about a week ago. Pysyk, girgensons and a 2nd for drouin and DeAngelo.

See if it gets the tires rolling. And I would be all for them trading their first pick. If they could wait until the draft so they could announce the trade in Buffalo.

Grass is always greener on the other side. To much emotion . TMGM will make an informed decision hopefully and not an emotional one as most in here would do. I just don't think we are in the position to overpay again. And that seems what Yzerman is looking for.

Why are you trying to be a Richard with each post? No one is freaking out over the kid, we're having a discussion about his worth. No one here is trying to sell the farm, the highest bid I saw was Ennis, Pysyk, 2nd and that was quickly dismissed as too high for most. The average is Ennis + a 2nd.

All sorts of names have been thrown out there . Irish suggested 3 to 4 players plus a pick. Trying to bring stable thinking into the equation.

I'm going to come right out and say that there's always been something about Drouin that's rubbed me the wrong way. I can't pinpoint what it was exactly that sparked it, but it's something I haven't been able to shake.

Recent events have certainly not helped to ease that feeling.

I could be completely off base about him, but I just do not like the idea of him here. At all.
