Found the following in a story about the latest Kane "accusations":

I don't think there's been any confirmation that the above flight information is in fact for the Hawks's fight.

Bryan Bickell also tweeted that he was at O'Hare arrivals on 11/30/14 at 2:22pm waiting for his wife and children to land:

It's an ~4 hour flight from LAX to ORD. Assuming Bickell was with the team in LA, the team's flight must have left no later than roughly 8:00 a.m. (PT) for him to be able to be waiting at O'Hare at 2:22 p.m. (CT).

The Bickell thing leads me to think the team probably left the night before given the timing. It shouldn't be too hard for Kane or the team to offer clarification on this point if the Twitterverse is right.

Bickell had an assist in the 11/29 game in LA. He could have flown back without the team but that seems unlikely.

Yeah. I think it's fairly safe to assume that the team travelled together.

Giving up way too much for the cry baby. Besides that , every GM in the NHL has already called Yzerman and have told him don't you dare trade him . Don't want to set a precedent here that blackmail moves like this work.
- Maximum Signal

Really?
Every GM called & said "don't trade him"
That's ridiculous to say
Especially since it's widely reported that there are SEVEN different offers on the table for Drouin

Your post doesn't make sense

My point by naming all of the players I did was the cost of Drouin would be something like Girgensons, Pysyk, and a top pick, as in all three, and I have seen enough of Girgensons and Pysyk at the NHL level to know their combined impact for me is greater than the impact of one as of yet unproven forward.

If you agree it would take a package like that to get Drouin, which I think it will, it is bad asset management IMO.

get drouin now!!!!
- homiedclown

Only if the price is right...
I'm not giving up Ennis, Girgensons, McCabe or Pysyk
No 1st round pick this year, next year's only if it's lottery protected
I'd also prefer not to trade Bailey

Basically...
I'm saying I pretty much wouldn't give up what they'd be asking for
I'm just not sold on Drouin

It's probably Ek since he wrote that yesterday. And that guy is never wrong, so I totally believe it.

That was before his refusing to play . These GM's are drawing a line in the sand . .Do you think that want it seen that this ploy works? Open the flood gates. I an only repeating what I have heard several respected analysts last night and today. Kevin Allen from USA today said it today in EK's podcast as well

Analysts have said it, a 158 score if you want an exact number. They were also discussing on the podcast how they felt the kids game is not complete yet. Watch it yourself.

Did anybody see the contract Loui Eriksson is hoping to get at 31 by the start of next season?

5-6 years at $6M+ per year.

Scratch him off the list!

Isn't that "collusion"?

I don't doubt that SOME GMs are giving Yzerman support, but to say there's a league wide movement to stick it to Drouin is pretty unbelievable to me

I get your thinking
I just don't buy it
Not to the extent you're saying anyways

Drouin will be traded, no doubt
But I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't until the draft bc his value is now at an all-time low

Yea, I'm not doing all 3 either.

Although IF (big IF) Drouin reaches what he was projected to be....It would be that of a franchise winger like Kane, St. Louis, which I would move Girgensons and Pysyk for all day long still

- sbroads24

That's the crux of my point: I'm not trading what it will likely take to get him because for what it will take, he should be at least a somewhat proven rising star in the NHL, and he's not, even though he could be.

If Yzerman is smart he sells him to a non-playoff team that has assets to help them for this playoff run.

We all know it is the old boys club. They did black ball Ted Nolan years ago on our GM's word. And he was relevant back then . Nothing would surprise me . They do not want other young players thinking about it.

That would be ideal, but I'd imagine no one is making a fair value offer right now
I'd imagine he's getting low balled right now
Maybe by the deadline he can get a good enough offer from someone

I'm pretty sure that's the entire point of this whole thing. Tampa thinks he needs to work on his game, and he'll get a better opportunity in Syracuse; Drouin/Walsh disagree. Hijinks ensue...

I'll bet there's still quite a few GMs that would want his talent though

When he is eventually traded,
It'll be interesting to see what he gets in return

I read they have been looking for a cheap RHD with upside

I could see Trouba for Drouin, and then WPG making a deal for Hamonic

Edit: Actually WPG could offer up Ladd or Byfuglien as well as rentals

I guess that would be Pysyk for us then
I wouldn't hate it, but I wouldn't like it either
Trading away any of our future D corps at this point seems to be a bad idea to me

Trouba is way more established from watching him play, That is an overpayment at this time maybe not 2 years from now if Drouin fills out his game.. And Hamonic wants to go west to get closer to home. Maybe they can work a three way with Tampa Edmonton and The Islanders.
