I dont know if Puliot is the next cleddening but that is type of trade that we need to start making on defense if we want to speed up the rebuild which only happens if you get lucky and a couple of deals of this variety turn out in a positive way

Maybe, and if that's the case then it still makes him look bad that he's not even willing to play even just to showcase himself so that some team is willing to pay whatever TB wants for him. Just not quite as bad, but I highly doubt this is the case, my guess is that SY and JC are more worried about Stamkos and either getting him signed long-term or trade him for as many assets as they can manage since they'd instantly be in a rebuild situation.

Keep in mind he has been showcasing himself since october/november which is when he asked to be traded. His agent said and yzerman confirmed that they just didnt want to release it to the media after nothing happened they went public. They took their two weeks in the ahl and still nothing. So the hold out is now happening. I really think something goofy happened but even if not he did give them months to make a deal.

No, but you're supposed to be a professional, you are getting paid to play. There are 1000 players waiting for you to fail and take your spot. If you're being manipulated by your agent then you should be firing him and taking him to the bar association to be disbarred. Like I keep saying, you can't tell me that he didn't know what his agent was going to do or that his agent did it behind his back against his wishes. The fact that he's still Drouin's agent despite obviously bad advice that's now essentially killed his career for the moment tells me that either he condones what was done in his name or else is too full of himself and wrapped up in his own little world to care.
