haha great to hear, you've always been on the ball

first in rotis.
second in h2h.
i think im 11-4 in hbsl - i lost 2 weeks in a row cause i never got a minute to change my teams...yeah i know i blew it i'll put up a good fight still for a playoff spot!

dead last in my keeper, just as expected, and just where I want to be. I've had some big trades and great FA pickups throughout the season...I plan to do a blog soley on that at some point giving others in keeper rebuild some options and thoughts going forward.

feeling good about winning at least one of my pool this year!

Man I could go for a goat roti from Mona's right about now, you're making me hungry.

Youre so cute little one.
Two seasons with 49 pts one of which he got injured....would have had 50
Another season with 47 pts, would have had 50.
Heck this season hes on pace for just over 50

And yes kadri hit 50 once and over 40 once

- Fakepartofme

I'm drafting up the Bozak for sale post..do I put 3 time almost 50 point scorer or leave that out? So confusing

I plan to trade him for a late 1st..that is basically a 2nd, or an early 2nd that is really a 1st

I already answered that...they don't care...HE NEVER SCORED 50 points IN 1 SEASON

.64/gm
.61/gm
.84/gm
.71/gm

4 season of over 50 point pace if he wasn't injured and a 49 point season on top of that

but they don't like the player so it doesn't matter.

Ugh, not a fan of either of those deals. If they're going to take back Bickell, I think CHI should have to pay more than Dano, a low first and a mid range guy. JVR should be able to fetch that all by himself, taking back Bickell should require a 2nd rounder or a good prospect. Otherwise, theyd be better off keeping him.
- 13sundin13

this.

seems always to be the case that people look at the salary dumps as attractive in their own right - they are not.... and history of trades would tell us that GMs view it that way...
in short you have to pay "extra" for a team to take you bad contract.

if the player is overpaid by large amount getting rid of them is difficult. see Phaneuf.

New Year's Resolutioners update:

Three ladies at the gym. Apparently one of them was the trainer, as she kept giving instructions to the two others, but didn't actually do any exercise (she was wearing jeans and a sweater).

Student #1 was on the treadmiill next to me (wearing semi-appropriate gym clothing). The "trainer" kept on giving her instructions while standing on the back of my treadmill, which I found really annoying. Luckily, I sweat like a pig, so I'm sure she probably got a few sweat drops on her.

Student #2 was wearing jeans and no belt - the woman had quite a bit of badonkadonk going on, so there was more than enough butt cleavage for everyone to see. And even when she would hike up her jeans, she would never hike them up to the point of covering up the butt cleavage.

Anyhoo, Student #2 was using the resistance machines. Tiny hint to Student #2: for resistance machines to work, they actually have to be set to give resistance. Otherwise, you could have just stayed home and flicked your light switch on and off - it would amount to the same amount of calories burned.

Sigh.

The good news is they will be gone by March 1st, and will be in effect subsidizing my gym membership for the next 10 months.

everyone who was on the ice was to blame in some way or another...team game.

ive heard some blame it on reimer, others phaneuf, and others the coach.

everyone blew it!

- Lucas Neilson

Carlyle to me is the most to blame. Overused a certain d man all year. No time outs, in the end he was fired. Still stupid to reward said d man with 50 million dollars though...

I was watching the stream. The video stays up for commercials and they just cut the audio. Noodles wife produces the show and she came storming in. Her, Hayes and Odog stared yelling at each other with Noodles sitting there looking terrified. Odog slammed him fist on the desk and stormed out. They didn't know they were still on camera so they down played it when they came back from break.
- Sammich

Ha ha, that reminds me of the commercial break on the NHL stream a few years back, Bowen and Millen were arguing over Nash coming to TO. From the sound of it they weren't super friends. After the break, same thing, they tried to be overly friendly with each other...

Youngblood is sooooo bad it is good.

Perfectly Normal is also quite good, but a bit out there. Like, a few bus stops past out there.

And Face Off is fun to watch, just to see the old Gardens and cameos by Leafs.

don't use points - use points per game... and only take face off percentage for select games - when he's good.

and never mentioned that Kessel propped him up.... no one in Pittsburgh will believe you.

I heard the term on TV a couple of years ago.

I also had to look it up on urban dictionary.

Since then, I try to use it at least once a day.

I would rather keep Boak than Kadri. More productive in more areas, and he can play with star players, so at least there's someone to feed Stammer for a while when he gets here. Plus 4.5 million is better than the 5 or 6 Kadri's likely to get...
