I think with no corporate plan/special plan involved you will pay about $55 per month. The exact same plan through a corporate plan can be like $28 per month. Worth while to check if any friends have unused family member additions because they will charge you an arm and a leg for nothing if you just walk in off the street.

I'm sitting at 486 lbs right now - but I'm big-boned. Most of it isn't fat.

Actually, just found out that my wife's benefits give me $22 every two weeks towards a Good Life membership (sadly, I can't put it towards membership dues at my club).

But I figure I'll go in and say to them: "I'm going to use your gym maybe twice a month. I'll join (i.e., you can have my money) as long as it doesn't cost me a penny over what my wife's benefits cover.

Sadly, there isn't one close to my work, so I can't just drop my current membership and use the Good Life all the time.

But further to your point, I love going to the gym in January to see all the New Years Resolutioners.

There's a woman I keep seeing at the gym - she's about 60+ years, so I don't want to mock her too much, but she is working out in full (heavy) make-up, jeans, costume jewelry, weight-lifting gloves, and of course a bandana around the head.

She's on the treadmill, doing what I consider urban waterskiing - hanging onto the sides for dear life as she walks.

Probably a good upper body workout, I guess.

I would honestly be interested in seeing what we could get for Kadri. Given Marner and Nylander are coming through and looking good, almost want to just trade him now while we can get a solid return. Just clean house, keep stocking young talent and build up as we go. Hiller might be interesting too.
