Murray did try to trade up for Larkin by all accounts in that draft.

You know you and I are on the same page regarding a top 5 pick this year putting them over the top, but I just can't take rooting against them again after the past 2 seasons.

I'll be happy when they win games and play well and just hope to luck out into a top 3 pick come draft time.

Let me ask you a hypothetical. Player A had 12 G 18 A in 30 games, and player B had 12 G 18 A in 45 games. Are you really trying to say they're the same? I'm talking about principles and not specifics.

To me, he's a top quality 2nd line winger.

At the end of the year it's the same thing.

And I agree with everyone else, Kane has been very good the last 4 games

I see what you're saying, but you're also refusing to budge off the fact that a player can have a bigger impact than just the end of season numbers due to the fact that said player missed games. Again, I'm talking about the principle of it, not any specific players. If you had to pick one guy which guy would you take? 30 in 30, or 30 in 45?

At least it shouldnt be a complete blowout and with kane and ovechkin goin for me, hopefully that will tip the scales even without having as many games overall as my opponent.

If crawford has another big week coupled with kane and OV, i might actually have a chance. Sucks that ekblad is out.
