I found it interesting johnson got the start again tonight

Are people saying he hasn't been a little disappointing? I think people mostly argue with you specifically because you were the biggest pro-Myers voice when that trade went down. So when you criticize Kane or Bogo it just really doesn't go over well. It's more the source than the validity of the actual argument.

He has 17 points ..... in what world is a 30-35 point top 6 forward making 5.2 mil a year not dissapointing at least a little bit?

See, there you go again. Is the season 82 games or 72? Fair enough though, even at a 40-45 point pace, yes it is a little bit disappointing. I would have expected the assist stat to be a little higher for everyone this season.

Although we were discussing scoring goals, if you want to take it there just about everyone playing forward on this roster not named oreilly, eichel, reinhart and maybe mcginn is a disappointment.

Then again i kind of really want another top pick, so maybe my disappointment for this season is leveled compared to others.

if we had myers on the top pair still, with risto, and bogo was our solid d man on the second pair, how would you feel about bogo as a 3/4 man?

yea but you could get a larkin in the middle of the draft too... I understood why we tanked last year. This year is different. No point in it. Obviously trade mcginn if he isnt gonna resign or if we can get a great deal. if not keep him.

Edit: Not saying they need to tank, just dont want to be stuck drafting 10th or 11th when this team clearly needs another elite talent.

I can't wait until Vegas gets a team and they change the take your parents game to that game every year.

Weber has been outstanding on the PK. Played very well 5 v 5. Baited a penalty in tonights game.

He has leadership, willing to fight for teammates, sacrifices his body blocking shots, hits, plays physically, leads our team in +/- by a good margin, has one of the best corsi stats of anyone on our team, is payed like a bottom pair dman.

He is the problem. We need to get rid of him. Trade him for a bag of pucks, he is too clumsy and slow to play for my team.

Which casino? I've been to the Hard Rock down there, it was pretty decent. The felt on the poker tables was a bit worn out, but it was a big room and didn't have those sleep inducing lights like Seneca Niagara.

Dude, I'm basing it on what he's going to finish with this season. You are literally just making up goals and points out of thin air talking about 82 games which is impossible he plays.

With a fleeting chance at matthews, 3 stud wingers and a potential top pair dman in this draft there is a point when you are in position getting later in the season.

Murray doesn't see Matthews in the same class as McDavid and Eichel. Just tossing that out there.

Let me ask you a hypothetical. Player A had 12 G 18 A in 30 games, and player B had 12 G 18 A in 45 games. Are you really trying to say they're the same? I'm talking about principles and not specifics.

Edit: Those would be end of season numbers. Sorry, should've made that clear.

21 points ten goals 45 games played so far. On any team that's a very good 3rd liner and on most he can be a complimentary guy on the 2nd line.

And I agree with everyone else, Kane has been very good the last 4 games
