No way we get drouin imo.
And "IF" there's some crazy way we do, the price will most likely make us riot haha

I agree. But I would love it if it was possible

Another little guy who is playing well in a smaller conference.

Love the story but he plays against teams like AIC and Bentley not exactly powerhouses!!

You need to learn how to read because please show me where I ever said that.

You're a piece of work, and pretty clueless at the moment so here is where I end it with telling you to go make video game trades...

- Stripes77

You said he is too much like Max and that is not capable of being on a playoff team

I said well MaX did lead this team to the playoffs and a 110 pt season.

I said that he could be struggling with a few things like injuries, new system, new linemates, and to change his mindset from being "the guy that has to do it all" to "I can use my linemates"

Yoy said no.. he is just bad like MaX and I need to go watch the game.

Yea... that's the disconnect. I tried discussing possible ideas... you said no. So yea... good talk there man. Good talk.

I don't think i would be all that upset.

If Girgensons is involved, yes it sucks to lose a guy like him, but Drouin is a former top 3 pick, with dynamic offensive upside.

I also don't get the "Drouin is small" comments. He is what 5"10 195 lbs?

Shoutout to the guys who were bashing Fasching last week...

he is now 20 pts in 19 games with Minnesota.

What a bum.

Would not be a Sabres board if someone was not whining or bashing a player.

Again I never said that...I said top 6...again your reading comprehension is MASTERFUL

Just how Max lead the team in points on the 3rd line but wasn't the reason they got there because it was a very stacked Sabres team.

Tyler Ennis on the 3rd line making $5 million and not producing is not something I want. Again go make your video game trades cause that's apparently something you are better at than reading comprehension.

Buddy of mine who is in the Detroit area... Said that it was being talked about on local hockey media outlets.

I don't think i would even trade Nyquist, Mantha, and a 1st for Stamkos... even if Stamkos was extended. I don't think that is worth it.

Nyquist and Mantha are legit 1LW and 1RW IMO. I wouldn't trade 2 top forwards for one elite star who has regressed the past year or so. Stamkos was really a ghost in the playoffs last year even though he put in 18 points and hasn't had a huge impact this season either to his typical caliber.

- JVince11

I wouldn't do that trade if I was Detroit, but for different reasons

1st... We don't know what Mantha is yet. There's still a lot of debate on how he'll turn out. Supposedly, the Wings got so annoyed with him he was almost traded last season.

2nd... Disagree about Stamkos. Yes, his stats are down. But that whole team is struggling. And last year in the playoffs when he wasn't scoring, he was anything but a ghost. He was going up against top centers every night & was really bringing the physical play. Everyone has slumps. I was super impressed that he still found ways to contribute without scoring!

But the reason I wouldn't do the trade...
I expect Stamkos to be one of the top5 goal scorers for years to come...
But his production won't justify that giant cap hit when compared to what Nyquist will give u at about half the price

Maybe if u actually watched him play then you'd see what we mean about his skating
He's not a bust, but has a WAYS to go before he can be an NHL regular
Also...
Ppg in college isn't anything special
Especially as a Junior

I do like his net presence a lot though
