wish I knew more about the ennis injury/incident...that could be a good reed
- Michael Pachla

Not taking anything away from Buffalo, but the Wild are not the same team that started the season. after the first month month and half they were top 10 in goals scored, now they can barely eke out 2 goals a game.

Don't know why this team has slid into mediocrity but they have and I agree it is reminiscent of Buffalo several years back.

Good win for the Sabres as they look to be in a similar spot to where the Wild were about 4 - 5 seasons ago. Up and coming with the cupboard chock full of prospects.

It should be an interesting reed. What are your deadline thoughts?

63- Fine either. If the right deal is there I'm the opposed (LHD?)
88- Knowing murray I think he's gone. I'd like to see a 2nd for him maybe a young prospect that can help the Vet issue in Roch.
4/6- I hope this isn't a Mitchell/Flynn move where you're just looking to take anything.
17- With Schaller I think he might be in the Mitchell/Fylnn position.

Well said. We played Winipeg over the weekend and I thought the same thing of them that I think of you: something just doesn't feel right. You both have a couple of things in common: your core is old and no longer elite.

63+88+pick for drouin

schaller, imo, will take the place of Legwand if he gets traded

6 probably isn't going anywhere...

also, they'll need to move a vet or two off of rochester

Tampa wants young players on entry-level contracts. The only way they go for that trade is if we take back Carle and probably more.

yzerman gets himself a quality winger with a reasonable contract plus a winger in McGinn that will help in the playoffs...and he gets rid of the drouin headache

Both nice cap hits + 63 has term.
I think the only way they could manage to trade within the division is if someone takes Carle too

They're thin at center if you look at it from a standpoint of guys that are/could be in Rochester. But that's because you have two that are only 19 and 20 years old with the NHL club already.

I'm not saying our cupboard is full, but it's not as empty as many like to make it out to be.
