Oh i thought he had played left in COL... but now that i think about it.. Landy plays LW so it would have been Landy - Duchene - ROR wouldn't it.

Think people maybe need to put down their pitchforks and torches about not going and getting one of these other guys instead of Lehner.

Anyone I am missing that people wanted to see here instead of the Lehner deal?

He played almost a full season at LW on a line with Duchene and McGinn
Last year he played some RW/C with Landy and MacKinnon with him and mack playing a C platoon role based of of situation start, but by the mid season he was back to full time C

and I get that... I really do. But the guy has played like 18 minutes for us. he isn't tearing it up in Rochester reconditioning either but man... let's let the guy get his feet wet.

People wanted to trade Reinhart last year because he didn't stick right away... now look at him... he is our 3rd or 4th best player on this entire team that no one would want to trade.

I don't know how much time they spent on the same pairing in Rochester. I think Pysyk may have spent most of last year playing on the left side paired with Ruhwedel (who, like him is a righty).

I think McCabe was with Bagnall (when he was in the lineup). But I could be wrong.

To me Risto can be even better with a capable partner. Gorges while he has that veteran presence, is not a top 2-3 d-man.

I think if we could acquire a top-3 d-man to move everyone down a spot it would help immensly.

Risto - Top Pairing guy already (Pay the man)
Bogosian - Great #3 d-man
Pysyk - Number 4 right now (Hopefully grows to a 2-4)
McCabe - Number 4/5 right now (Hopefully continues to grow to a 2-4)
Gorges - a 4-6 guy. Great leader.

Soderberg and Landy are 2nd line, really impressed with Soderberg. Guys a tank playing against top lines.

Grigo is 3rd C, Iggy is garbage now, he fell off a cliff this season, cant skate. I hope they trade him in the offseason.

I wouldnt consider him low, soderberg line gets a lot of ice time playing against other teams top lines, Landy really excels in that role. landy is on a quiet 60+ pt season and Soderberg on a 50+ pt season.

Comeau is holding Rantanens spot on that line for now, next season they will have the Viking Line back together
