Hes a better more physical version of girgensons...I dont get why people wouldnt want him..

No, I agree. I like him just fine but don't love him. I think we've become accustomed to looking for elite talent. Not sure if I would give up Ennis for him... I probably would.

There's a reason someone took him in the first round. Not saying it's a lock, just that it might be worth exploring in a smaller trade if they think he's got that upside.

Huge news out here in Nebraska. He was one of the best Husker running backs of all time.

On a less-depressing football note, the Bills hired Ed Reed to be assistant DB coach.

I don't know if he can coach, but he sure could play. I have to think he'd be an asset to the DBs and could only help them get better.

In Lehner's (most likely) final game of his AHL conditioning stint, he stopped 35 of 39 shots.

Never thought I'd be saying this, but if Lehner struggles out of the gate, at least we have Johnson. Johnson should help ease Lehner back into the role of NHL goalie.

Interesting. It looks like Thurman is on the outs. The brothers Ryan are in charge of the defense, and I heard today that Thurman was being named a defensive backs coach even though we already have one(Tim McDonald). And now Ed Reed is coming in as an assistant.

I wish we never had Lehner. Rather just Johnson & Ullmark. Hope I'm wrong.

It's easy to say this now, but no one would have guessed the rookie goalie coming off double hip surgery and the blah career backup would have performed as well as they have.

Imagine the backlash Tim Murray would have received if he announced those as his goalies going into the season. Lol

I assume GMTM is going to stick to his guns, but frankly, I think the two scrubs performed admirably in Lehners absence.
Im many cases, we were a goal away from at least a point with those two in net.
Get a scoring winger, play those two, don't make that trade and we're golden.

It's all political now. I suppose we can use another high draft pick if he loses us too many games.

I don't like the Lehner trade at all, but there was no way of knowing that Ullmark would be this NHL ready.
