Id prefer to sign someone who could grow with the team. When this team has a couple more years under its belt then I would to acquire an older Dman. He is going to want 7 years and be a disaster for the last years of that deal when he is in his late 30s.

yeah, I wouldn't mind that deal although lindholm looks much better than theodore at this point. Vrbata for theodore straight across is similar value. maybe we throw in a mid-rounder?

Edit: In general, Anahiem seems to have some deep d prospects, definetly would be nice if we could land any of: Theodore, Fowler, Vatenen, lindholm

The problem isn't trading Tanev for Hamonic... the problem is trading Tanev plus another good asset for Hamonic. I don't think we have the prospect depth to do it at this point.
