Hes the best goal scorer in the league and he has been for the last decade. Amazing how much the game has changed, taking a hundred more games than hull. I feel bad for the younger guys on the board, hockey was a lot more fun when it wasnt bogged down by systems and goalies didnt wear halo suits in net. And defensemen with gwar shin pads of course.

While I'm not as pissed at Gerbe I think this a pretty nepotism move and not based on any real results. Rob hasn't been a good coordinator in a while. He's had maybe two good seasons as a D coordinator. Weather Thurman had a large stake in our D's poor play this year or it was mostly Rex I was hoping we'd ditch Thurman and certainly not hire Rob and bring back Pettine. But obviously that isn't happening now... Hope Rex knows what he's doing.
