Im not allowed to talk poorly of him.
- Sabresfan-365

it is what it is

he played fine last season

now, when less is expected from him, he has lost his edge and floats around half the time

if Murray does not make the myers, ror and ottawa trade, I am not sure the product on the ice would be any worse than what it is today

I think you need to go back and watch some of the games from last January then. They were downright BRUTAL.

Yes, we lost the Florida game the other night, but we weren't actually outplayed as much as we were just unlucky. Last year we were just downright outplayed most nights.

Your loss, the song has grown on me.

I believe it was voted the best on in the league recently. I don't mind it. I wish I could hear it more often.

team has also been brutal last 5 nights

if the team made no trades, had girgens on second line I doubt this team would be much worse in the short term and much better long term from a prospect standpoint

only ror is a fixture moving forward after shipping out all those parts

I thought he played well after we acquired him. Haven't been a big fan of what I've seen this year so far though.

I guess your definition of brutal is different than mine. Last year, I had a hard time even making it through full games. I haven't felt the need to turn any of these last 5 off.

there has to be a lingering issue from his injury, or what we read from jets fans is correct

either way, right now he is not close to being a top pairing d man where I thought there was hope he would be a number 2 d man after last season

they started out fine, competing and losing games they could have won

lately they have been outclassed in all departments

He isn't playing like a #3 overall draftee.

McCabe has been up and down. He is still developing and consistency is not there for him at this point in his career. Pysyk is coming off an injury and has not played for a while. Ristolainen is comfortable and playing well offensively with Gorges backing him up. I see absolutely no reason to change that. As a pair they have played well against the top lines on other teams. It's not like they weren't getting the job done.

I think expectations were too high this year. Many were talking playoffs.

I am not happy with 29th, but if we get Matthews, Puljujarvi or Tkachuk, it was damn well worth it.

I'd like for him to settle into the second pairing. With Risto being a top 2, I don't need Bogo to be up there too. But he's shown me very little so far this year. It could very well be the injury thing. Or it could just be that he's having trouble getting his timing back from missing so much time at the beginning of the year. Some players struggle for the whole season when they don't get to play right out of the gate. They just always seem to be a step behind, which is how I feel about Bogo right now. He shouldn't be either, because skating is supposed to be one of his strong suits.

I'm really excited about Guhle. He almost made the team out of camp by all reports.

Pysyk, Risto, McCabe, Guhle. All very young and only going to get better next year.

I know this sounds crazy, but I find it harder to watch a team repeatedly play as good or better every night and seldom win. It's frustrating.

at this point we have to hope for a top 5 pick, and then kane, girgens, bogo, and others step up their production

worst thing that can happen now is for the team to gel, make it a lost season for draft and no playoffs

Risto is -6 in our last five games. Time to shake things up a bit. Can't possibly have a worse outcome. It's not like we've even gotten some points during this stretch. The big fat goose egg in the points column for these 5 games is a pretty good indicator that what you're doing isn't working and it's time to try something else.

Agreed. He isn't getting me any HBSL points this week.
