There's no doubt in my mind that Joe Sakic put out feelers to see if someone would take him. And also that he advised other GMs of whatever issue there is with the guy.

I recall having read (red) here in the past that La Nova Pizza is suppose to be pretty good.

I took my kid to the game Tuesday and we had two slices of pepperoni. He didn't even finish his. What a giant pile of suck.

I find LaNova pizza to be okay nothing more. I also have found that no matter what the pizza place, you simply can't replicate it at a concession stand.

I'd take Puljujarvi if we were 2nd. I'd be cool with trading down if someone really wanted the defenseman but other than that Pulj is my guy. That said I'm cool with Laine.

I am not a fan of La Nova, just stating it is even worse in the arena. I like Johns, Francos, Mattinas if you like a saucy pizza, Bocces, Leonardis, Those are all the local faves.

Johns has a very good chicken finger pizza, TC and Molinaros are very good. Mattinas is on delaware in tonawanda/kenmore. My favorite pizza probably but it is a messy/saucy pizza.

i live close to that. its not very good. its really mister pizza or nothing (although i think they changed their name to "mr. pizza on elmwood please hold"), although pi on the boulevard by the 290 is pretty nice for a change of pace.
