If you've ever known anybody addicted to pain killers (I have), it's a brutal recovery. I don't profess to know what kind of restrictions or testing he'll undergo, but if I'm Washington I'd be keeping a close eye on the medicine cabinet.

Personal experience, it sucks! The people around you have to treat you like anyone else and at the same time monitor everything. Its tough for everyone. I hope Richards gets back to playing like he used to, and the Caps eventually lose to us in the playoffs.

Someone else told me Nashville was really awesome to go to. He said after the game they went to a bar wearing their Devils Jerseys and nobody cared. They didnt boo them or give them a hard time.

The atmosphere in nashville is electric. It puts the console to shame. I was decked out in my penguins gear and everyone was friendly. (Until we won in overtime and I came unglued)

Just don't go when there is also a titans game as well as a Vanderbilt homecoming game. The city was packed along with about 50,000 tourist. 45 minute wait to get into a bar after the game

Torts will be gone within a calendar year. My personal belief is that no one is dumb enough to seriously hire Torts. I think the BJs wanted some time to think over who they wanted to be their coach of the future and hired Torts as a stop gap because he's one of the most fireable people in all of major sports. An org can fire a guy like Torts within a year of him being hired and not look bad.

Well they certainly don't have a #1 center anymore. So that's a problem, but fixable. Obviously they made this move for the future. I love Seth Jones however. Kid is a true #1D for the next decade.

Honestly, I think they thought he'd come in and start gassing people like Hitler and the team would somehow respond to that. That kind of coaching doesn't work in pro sports anymore.

For sure, you're right. But I think Jarmo got them into this situation, which is uncharacteristic for him. Not many times a guy does that and gets out of it with his job.

Thats a brutal trade for Columbus. They now just have a bunch of hacks at forward with no real threat of devloping into a #1 guy. Johansen will be amazing in Smashville with Neal and Forsberg as linemates.

My opinion is that I am happy Johansen is no longer in the metro. He was a tough guy to play against and Seth jones doesn't frighten me as much as Johansen does.

Columbus wouldn't do that salary cap wise. Jones does have a high ceiling, but he hasn't hit it yet. At this very second The preds won because of their depth on D allowed them to make this trade and become better. Columbus moved laterally until they can find a true #1 center
