Sprong + Pouliot for Drouin + D'Angelo? What say thee?

That was my trade 2 days ago and I'm warming to it but I think Sprong will be a better scorer and Pouliot will be a better dman so I'm no there yet.

I see it the other way, Drouin will be the better forward and Pouliot the better dman. I might even be willing add in a 2nd for their 3rd or something like that.

Druin MIGHT be a better forward but he didn't make the team as an 18 year old and he doesn't have Sprongs shot.

Drouin is superior to Sprong.. Doesn't matter when they "made the team". Sprong is in jrs and Drouin can step in and play now. Sprong may not even be up here next year.

Sprong may end up as the better player, but I doubt it. Just as D'Angelo may end up being better than Pouliot, but I doubt that too.

Nope, just stating Plotnikov has been trash. I hope his bonuses were structured around stats, not games played because it would sure suck to take a hit on next years cap due to Plotnikov hitting bonuses playing a roll literally ANY guy in WBS could have filled.

No one on the Pens makes me more angry than Perron. The guy doesnt do anything.
-Good at stick handling, but the dekes never end up doing anything.
-Plays gritty kind of, but more just runs into guys then falls down and is out of position for the rest of the shift.
-Can shoot at all, if you're going to be in the top six you need to either have a heavy, accurate or quick shot. Perron has a nothing shot.

I'm almost positive it's around stats. and he has the right to terminate his contract if he is demoted to the AHL but that is what is best for him.

Just read an article about him. Apparently Roberts has been training him for the last 3 years and that could also persuade him to choose Pittsburgh. That's a much need addition there.

Superior is a strong word. There is no evidence that Drouin is anything but an average player who is having trouble sticking at the NHL level.

Gotta think Ruth has or is going to kick the tires on Drouin. No way does Cullen stay on second line....

I think he looks good, he is a late bloomer but at only 24 he is just entering his prime.

Trade the rest or keep Daley and play him with Pouliot and trade Warsovsky. But that is a nice looking defense!

They switched it a couple of times but the only thing about that period I liked is the Dumo-Daley pairing
