Pouliot for Drouin would be a good trade for both teams IMO. pens of course would have to add a little extra. If they did that though, they'd have more forward prospects than D prospects.

Strange the Kings would roll the dice on Vinny?? Schenn is ? Type of player - good, great average terrible? Was he the sweetener for taking Vinny?

Sutter must be worried about his 'great shot suppressing' (as some have described around here ), Kings not having the pieces to compete - & that's why I see a huge gamble on a man not known for gambling?? (Someone correct me if I'm mistaken ).

Columbus wouldn't do that salary cap wise. Jones does have a high ceiling, but he hasn't hit it yet. At this very second The preds won because of their depth on D allowed them to make this trade and become better. Columbus moved laterally until they can find a true #1 center

I'm not saying this is a bad trade by Preds at all. This is a very good trade that completed their team, IMO. Just saying, RyJo's stint in CBJ was over. Jarmo had to trade him. I think this one for one swap is probably one of the best things he could have done as far as trading Johansson.

I think the coach wanted him gone. Maybe the GM had some carryover animosity from the contract negotiations. He only signed for two years. Who knows, but it didn't seem like the relationship was going to be a warm one in Cbus.

Rychel+. I'm beginning to think Pouliot is gonna be screwed to make the lineup too. Maatta looks good with Letang. If that glass duo can keep it together, that's a good top pairing. Dumoulin is improving every game. Doubt Pouliot is taking his spot either.

Part of me thinks that Sammy is just this wretched old man chewing tobacco spitting it into a spattoon from his rocking chair while his dog pisses on his leg and his wife is in the kitchen making some disgusting ass lasagna which just pisses him off even more and adds to his annoying nature.

Maatta is much better than Klefbom and will only get better. I would give him a 7year deal at 3 per as opposed to giving him a 5 mill a year deal after 3 years when he hits his stride. Every player goes through the sophomore slump and Maatta is much improved from the beginning of the season.
