Saw that.. Love it! Apparently he demanded that Kunitz be added instead of giroux and when he was told no he said he's not going either haha
- Hextall271

On the other hand, Crosby might have been jealous for the opportunity to play with John Scott, who might be as skilled as any other winger he's played with this year.

Manning has played more AHL games than NHL games. And if Manning were in net for the Canadiens, I'd agree with you.

But I know you like to hate things, so carry on.

I don't see ghost becoming a steady nhl player . Def not a top 4. Hope I am wrong time will tell.

Not all will pan out and he will be the bust.

July 5 @ 12:58 PM ET

Bust is a strong word. I see him as num 4 pp specialist. Alot of people are down on him because of his lost season. The kid has a pretty decorated back round and had tremendous hype.
- 28Girouxsalem28

Why is it a strong word ? The way he is hyped by flyers fans. I myself have never been that high on him

How do u come to the conclusion that I randomly picked him?
I threw a dart and hit his name. Almost hit gus; had to double check

I couldn't be more happy for a guy like John Scott. I heard the league has planned a new fan interactive skills competition. A few select fans will have the opportunity to climb a ladder and punch him in the face

I am honestly excited to watch him in the skills competition. Imagine if he didn't come in dead last in every event (minus hardest shot).

The situation that you guys are hoping for has never happened before... and there's a reason for that... it would be an attack on guaranteed contracts.
- Tomahawk

I disagree that it would be an attack on guaranteed contracts. Rafalski walked away from 6M. Mutual is the key word, and it would only happen if Lecavalier agreed, so he has complete control.

Rafalski retired, he didn't want to play any more. Vinny still wants to play.

Option A or Option B?

More so, in a cap world actual payed salary and cap hit are completely separate numbers.

He could have a 4.5 mil cap hit, but only have a salary payment of 1 mill. He might feel that he could take a little less (or around the same amount) else where and actually play. Do well and make more actual money the next contrac.t

"Omg, this stupid guy won't terminate this contract and allow my favorite hockey team to go sign more guys to stupid contracts, then discard them when they start to suck! It's so unfair!!!!"
- Tomahawk

Come on, man -- that is not what I am saying. He's talking crazy that he wants to go to a contender! Like who?! Even if he could still play, which he can't, what contender is absorbing that cap hit?

The Flyers aren't eating another crap deal coming back, and it sure as hell doesn't look like they're wanting to eat any salary to send him packing, so what the hell is he even talking about?

If he wants to sit and collect, great. But if you really want to play, don't peddle that delusion like there's nothing you can do except wait for the fates to align.

If you believe you still have it, then terminate. Or sit in the Shelley Suite and collect.

Every single thing else is delusional -- hell, I want a unicorn every Christmas, but that doesn't mean I am going to get one!

Yes. And the Canadiens goalie last night has played more NHL games than AHL games, which (to me) means that he's an NHL-caliber goalie.
