He will probably come back up. It was done out of necessity and to hope someone claimed him. Didn't happen. I don't see AMac coming back up right now. There's still 7 d men.

Of course, but I think teams would be more scared of the term rather than the actual amount. Vinny and Luke were able to bring back an actual asset because their deals won't carry over (assuming Vinny retires).

Weal's scouting report sounds good: undersized but tenacious and skilled and fast in all 3 zones. Sounds like a good player to play with Laughton and Reader. Scorer at every level, even in his draft year. Akeson was basically a 20 year old when he put up his good junior numbers.

Hexy is anal about losing guys to waivers. Frankly, this kid sounds a whole lot better than Manning or Porter. Feels like a high ceiling high floor (relatively) sneaky pickup.

This is the kind of trade you make and how you use a player like that who is not waiver exempt, and is a borderline NHL player. Why you don't sweat issues with a player like Alt not being waiver exempt.
