Who would RJ have to kill to be taken out of the lineup? I'm thinking it would have to be a former Flyer or a Hextall relative. You really can't take this clown out once every 15 games or so to throw Vinny a bone?

I don't understand why Nick Schultz is in the lineup ahead of Medvedev.
Real nice performance from our top 6. Defense did alright sans a few gafs. Nuveirth had my heart pounding in the final 20 seconds. Great win. Hopefully we can go on a little bit of a run in 2016 to make things interesting.

I think it was Schenn's giveaway that led to the first goal.

Schenn is normally decent with the puck. He had a number of poor turnovers leading to scoring chances, including one errant outlet directly into the slot, leading to a scoring chance against. Not sure how you could miss it.

Same. Only poor play I really noticed when he was on the ice for an extended period of time and Habs had us pinned in our zone for minutes. Wasn't his fault he was just gassed. He was trying so hard not to lean over to catch his breath.
Thanks Bill. A win, is a win, is a win. With the exceptions of the last goal allowed by Neuvy, and those dumb White penalties, the game wasn't half bad. Can the team build upon this win? Only time will tell.....
Oh, and a win against the Habs, or Pens is always a good win in my book.

The Habs' fourth shot tied the game. Galchenyuk shook free from Scott Laughton in front of the net and deflected home a point shot by Mark Baberio for his 10th of the season and 14:40. Daniel Carr got the secondary assist. The sequence started with a bad turnover by Luke Schenn and continued with a lucky bounce for Montreal as R.J. Umberger blocked Barberio's initial point shot and the puck went right back to the defenseman on his forehand.
