Yup doc you got it all figured out don't ya? I'm a good judge of character and been right a whole lot more than wrong and I just get the sense that Canadians feel they're above everyone else. I used to think they were nice, understanding people but since I've met and spoke many through the years I've come to realize they dislike Americans. Now, obviously this cannot be said for all, but I find more feel this way than the ones who don't. Again, this is how I feel and my opinion and you brought up the question earlier as to why?

You ever think maybe they just didn't like you because you're a condescending bumhole?

Truth hurts doesn't it. Funny thing is I never said they didn't like me, I said the way they act towards Americans and the things they say(kinda like you two tools) is pathetic. French Canadians are even worse.

I'm obviously exaggerating with "every 20 minutes". I thought that would come across.
But Florida is in the top ten most dangerous states (2013) and was the 3rd highest in murder rates (2013).
http://247wallst.com/spec...us-states-in-america-2/2/
When I was in Fort Lauderdale last year and watched the news each night I was astounded at the number of murder stories EVERY night! It was like watching the Buffalo news and them reporting on fires! (IF you havn't seen Buffalo news it seems like every second story is about a house burning down)

The murdering really happens in Miami ( south Florida speaking) when it comes to danger, that's probably all the old and bad drivers, not so much violence. The news is horrible! They always promote the bad news. I'm sure every place has news that is constantly bad.

wow...
So because they are not in the NFL there is no sense watching? Ever been to a junior hockey game? How about College Football? None of them are in the highest league... so it must be pointless.
As for your experience in many of these places... the inside of a boardroom/hockey rink really won't give you much of an idea as to what the place is about I'm afraid.

If you're 27, I'm afraid to say there is less than 10 years between us. I enjoy going out. I don't need to be out til the wee hours chasing tail though... did plenty of that while living abroad. Happily married with no wee ones. If you're going out til 6am... you wouldn't be able to do my job in the morning... requires a lot of concentration and liability shall we say. Folks in the US like to sue people in my line of work for malpractice... up here not so much... but where you are for sure.

You do realize that players like Connor McDavid, Patrick Kane, Adrian Peterson, Peyton manning ect. are what makes college football and junior hockey so exciting, right? The players that go to the CFL are the players that never played in the games or weren't good enough for the pro's... College football and junior hockey is exciting because of those players I mentioned and they all eventually go to the pros.

Just understand that a lot of people aren't like you, they do appreciate going to cities with a nightlife and enjoy "chasing tail". But seriously tho, do really think all I did on these trips was stay in a boardroom/hockey rink the whole time?

We were warned about half way through our stay last year not to signal our intent when driving... or as the gentleman put it "warning the enemy of your intent"!
Some crazy ass drivers for sure!!

CFL is same talent vs same talent, a much different league than the NFL (different rules, field, etc), and a place where LOCAL talent ply their trade. A lot of folks are DIEHARD fans of their CFL teams. Specifically in the west (Saskatchewan and Winnipeg especially) many fans of CFL teams:
a)couldn't give two poops about the NFL
b)would choose a CFL game over NHL
The fact that you are so oblivious to the fact that their are interests outside of your world is astonishing.
This whole argument started because I posted a few stats as to why folks attack teams like FLA, PHX, CAR for relocation. You can't deny that they have low attendence, so instead you chose to say things along the lines of "well... we have better things to do here because there are other sports and a beach". Negating the fact that folks in other areas enjoy doing things apart from going to hockey games.
Do you really believe that in a city like Calgary they are sitting around waiting for the next home game with nothing "Better" to do??
The fact that you enjoy the beach; whereas someone in CGY may enjoy skiing, hiking, rodeo, etc. really is no different, and that's the point you don't seem to be able to grasp.
As for what you've done on your trips... honestly I don't care. If you are away on business usually you don't have the ability to be out until 6AM with meetings the next day. as for your "hockey trips" (aka- mancation) I'm sure you hit up the bars after the game, but you never REALLY see the culture of the area. I used to play Rugby at a pretty high level where we did trips regularly to other cities. Same story for hockey for me. We would arrive for the game/tourney play our games, hit the local bars, stay out late having fun and debauchery. But I wouldn't say we ever REALLY saw the cities. Seeing places as a hockey/rugby tourist helped me check destinations off my list... but I wouldn't say I have BEEN there fully.

In 2013 the Saskatchewan Roughriders reported $68.8 Million in revenue. That's 10 home games.

The Florida Panthers, according to Forbes, had $83 million in revenue in 2013-2014. That's 41 home games.

Yeah, CFL is a much smaller deal in some places, but it's much much bigger than a lot want to give it credit for.

Wait for it...
response will be along the lines of "if it was an NFL team we'd be talking Billions"

It's like speaking to a brick wall.
