If the US doesn't win tomorrow, and they very well might not, it will be 3 straight years without a medal, and 4 out of 5.

I really hope Gionta is not on the top line and Z on the 4th..... I am praying that was for practice only.

I dont know much about network infrastructure, but when PSN charges 50 bucks a year to use their service, it needs to be better built to withstand what i am assuming is a ddos attack.

Its been out since a little after 9am this morning, with no timetable for its return. Millions of systems rendered useless including mine.

I can see the hot chick!!

All I have to do is chug a bit of this sinus infection medicine, tilt my head sideways, and let my vision go a little bit blurry. When I do all that, the red color of the outline of that monsters teeth kinda looks like a naked chick.

Kinda.

If I let my vision go really blurry, right after I chug.

This Drouin situation reminds me a lot of Kyle Turris back in the day. I wanted Turris then, I want Drouin now. Ennis, fine. Girgensons, fine. Not both, but either I'm down.
- Campbell SpinORama

Not Girgs. When he is a key contributor the team is usually playing well. I wish they'd keep him in the top6.

Almost certainly. It's funny how Xbox Live like never goes down. There was an issue earlier in the summer, but it wasn't due to a DDoS. "They" even said they were going to attack it on christmas morning, and as far as I know it never went down. It's time for Sony to hire some of Microsoft or Amazon's people for their security.

downdetector.com and people leaving comments there had xbox live down at some point today too. Maybe not to the extent of psn though, it was down worldwide for almost the entire day.

Back up now though

They used Amazon to launch their attack. Not quite the same as being attacked. Either way, how often, with all that Amazon does, do you hear of problems, or do you see their services go down? Same with Google. Kind of dumb for the guy or girl to say how they're spoofing Amazon's servers though. For every move there's a countermove. Unless it's a double-bluff and they're not actually doing it that way.

Went to the Eichel signing today. The kid has a big heart and is very humble. After I had gotten my autograph, the guy behind me went up. He was a disabled veteran. After he got his puck signed, he asked an employee if he could buy an autographed 8x10 as well. The employee told him no so he had went on his way. During this exchange, it was obvious Jack was keeping tabs on what was being said. So while he is walking away, Jack calls the guy back over. He grabs an 8x10, signs it and gives it to this guy for free. Very impressive for a kid his age.

Interesting, it was fine from around 2-3pm Eastern. Not that that's a long time, just saying I don't notice any outage. Still though my point stands Sony's security is for poop. How many times have they had major issues due to attacks? Their worst was a 23 day outage. Not to mention their countless data breaches. "They're" not picking on Sony alone, they hit everyone, they just get more from Sony than anyone else.

I may just be a cynical wiener, but he also knows everyone is watching, so for him to do that it doesn't cost him anything and only makes him look good. From everything I've seen/heard he seems to be a good kid though. The only thing I can think of was that video where someone had him, drunk off his ass, on video saying "Buffalo, I'm coming for you!" And, from what I got from that it was right after they (BU) won the Beanpot.

All due respect, this part of your post seems most accurate.

The kid is 19 yrsold. Give him the benefit of the doubt for a while, huh?
