I have found myself putting the NHL and the Sabres in the back seat during the World Juniors the past 5 years or so.

My cable is provided by comcast, and they dont carry the NHL channel, but the NHL still blacks out my feed of a game on Gamecenter if its carried on the NHL channel.
Thats some good logic.

not really, Toronto is going to explode bc of Marner, most of Canada hockey fans did not like the team as soon as it was announced.

Lowry was a bad coach decision and Team Canada and him picked a terrible roster leaving so much skill off of it.

And yes, i thought their roster was weak overall. Finland was a tough draw im glad it worked out where the states didnt have to play them in the quarters.

Same here, i watched the last 5 mins of the sabres game when the WJ game went to intermission.

Boy that Matthews sure is all hype should not even go first overall he's not even good definitely not dominating

Yea he is the real deal. If we somehow win the lottery this year i think you just draft him and trade girgensons and or reinhart for goal scoring.

Being over seas sure has not helped Matthews at all its just league for bums and players that never make the NHL

If we are in position come draft time i would be happy with any of these wingers, tkachuk, the finns, ect.

Yea, i was assuming when the time comes oreilly would slide over and have eichel and matthews as 1 and 1a centers.

If he could play off wing that would be fine, as RW is a big need for this team. Trade reinhart for a defenseman and keep girgensons as your 3rd line shut down center.

Not all his fault. He's doing what he can with slumping vets...

O'Riley, Reinhart, Eichel, Kane, McGinn. Are all playing worthy of top 9 minutes.

Who's left?Girgensons. Has potential and flashes but is disappointing this year.

Gionta, Moulson, Larsson all show minimal defensive ability and some of the worst offensive touch I've ever seen.

Foligino, Deslauries, Legwand. All 4th liners.

Ennis hurt and when healthy has lost his touch too... Not much there in terms of AHL production for what seems like the tenth year in a row...
