Way different expectations

Half the Roster was turned over. Brand new coach , Brand new system. They are slowly developing chemistry, that takes time . They are in every game. They are not being blown out anymore. It takes time. I am really happy with what I see on the ice. There a couple of players that have aged really quickly . Gionta and Moulson . Ennis has had trouble adjusting to everything new and has had bad luck with injuries. Anyone that expected anymore than this must buy a lot of lottery tickets planning on that being what they will retire on.

At least wait till the end of the season to give your criticism and see how we look then . We have a couple of members here that need to start sending out resumes the all the clubs in the NHL as they consider themselves GM material.

We should start seeing some chemistry by now. They're approaching the halfway point. They actually look worse than earlier save the Boston game. I'm sorry but I am done with moral victories such as "well they're not getting killed anymore". If the goal this year was to feel good about themselves, they should have just retained the former coach of this franchise. He was really good at getting people to feel good about failure.

I still have hope for Kane and Ennis to adjust . I am Sorry but Gionta and Moulson have aged really quickly . It happens sometimes. Maybe Gionta will see the writing on the wall and retire early . I think the Pegulas should offer him the job as president of the Amerks. Would be a great PR move as he is the prodigal son in Rochester.

There is some like Reinhart and OReilly, but Bylsma has been line juggling a bit much . It is 38 games . Look at all the other teams that did total tear downs and rebuilds.

You really should get that resume out there to all the owners in the league if you have a system that will accelerate a tear down and rebuild far quicker.

Kane was injured and had surgery and then Bogo missed a large portion at the beginning of this season . I know that means nothing to you but in the real world it does. Ever had to rehab fro a serious injury? I have . it does not happen over night.

I would like to see KANE - EICHEL - GIRGENSONS together for awhile . I think it would jump start all 3 of them

To be honest I expected somewhere close to a 30 goal season with him playing with Eichel or ROR.

He hasn't played near that level yet. Maybe he just doesn't have that level, but I am not throwing my hands up in the air saying F this guy when he's played 28 games in a Sabres sweater.

My issue isn't with Reinhart or any of the young players. Most of them are meeting or even exceeding expectations. The problems are with the veterans. And the other teams that did tear down didn't empty the cupboards to acquire veterans immediately after drafting their centerpieces. The Buffalo Sabres did. The result should be and is absolutely unacceptable.
