"The Winnipeg Free Press looked into the allegations and found no basis to the claim"

But please, read only the parts that support your claim

April 3, 2014: Kane is accused of assault after an incident in Vancouver and sued for financial damages. According to the Winnipeg Free Press:
- homiedclown

"We did investigate allegations of an assault on that day and at that location, but given the circumstances of the incident there were no arrests made and there was insufficient evidence to support or recommend any criminal charges," Const. Brian Montague told the Free Press on Wednesday. "From our perspective, the matter is considered closed."

Please.

Did anyone else go to the Rochester game last night? Lieuwen looked spectacular at points. Made some really impressive saves to keep the team in the game. The 1st goal that he let in was one he should have had but he was great for most of the night.

Bailey and Baptiste also each showed me good things. Kaleta was rocked at least 4 times, including being thrown into the Amerks bench. Carrier was absolutely invisible.

Matt Ellis was benched.

I have high hopes that Baptiste will be able to ride shotgun with Eichel.

The people who cover the amerks have soured on him. Projecting him as career AHLer

He has the wheels for it. At one point he turned on the jets and was by far the fastest skater out there. I believe it was him that tried making a cute pass on a 3 on 1 in OT instead of shooting, but that's just a poor decision. Overall I liked his game.

Amerks aren't a bad team they just need some guys to take those next steps.

Can't say that I've seen that at all. But I haven't really followed the Amerks as much this year as I normally do.

I don't really see why. Those same people like Bailey and Baptiste has more points than Bailey. Plus, they're both rookies. Hard pressed to predict his entire career at this point

The fact that they don't have much in terms of talent at Center in Rochester right now is probably the biggest factor when it comes to the wingers producing there.

where there is smoke, there is fire

my guess is he has more accusations then everyone on this board combined

when people suggest kane has done nothing illegal yet, it's fair game to post that he had a rap for walking out on restaurants and not paying the bill in the peg

really this is a half step away from being lynch on ice

Their best one right now is Schaller.

I didn't know this until yesterday, but the AHL has a development rule that only allows for 6 "veterans" to play at a time. The Amerks have 8 which is why Varone and Ellis were sitting. Also, the coach said he hasn't liked Varone's game. So there's that.

Kaleta said he didn't want his last game to be in an Amerks jersey but after how he got tossed around last night I can't see any way the guy plays another game for the Sabres. He should be running over the players down there and instead it was the opposite.

We have quite a few guys in the NCAA ranks too. There are still a good amount of guys in the system, they're just kind of all over the place right now.

And if he does something where it's proven I'll be with you. The assault looks like something small happened and the victim said, hey, he's got money I'm gonna sue. The restaurants, the only evidence is a sign that was brought to a game. I get what you're saying, but I would need something more than that to say that he's a bad person. If this sexual assault turns out to be true then that's the "something more" that I would need. Otherwise I just think he's an idiot

It's true. He was flown into the bench head first by a St. Johns player. At first I thought it was some kid on Rochester that had his head down and I look and it's veteran NHL player Kaleta. He tried making a few big hits and got a few but the other team was not worried about him at all.

Brady Austin, on the other hand, looked like a man v boys out there. Multiple occasions of him literally throwing guys away from the puck. Just shoving them with just his arms, not running into them, and taking the puck.

He also missed most of this season with injury. Just came back recently. Could be that he's not in game shape quite yet or his timing is off. Who knows.

Imagine rochester with those guys if we were still tanking. Sam, Eichel, Risto. They'd be unstoppable. I'm so glad they're ours and not Rochesters.

People at the game were surprised that I was from Buffalo cheering on the Amerks. They kind of gave me the "Why are you here" treatment.

He did look smaller than I remember him. He's been eased back into the team but if he wants that chance to come back up he really needs to turn it on

Next year there will be a large influx of players. Florentino, Martin, cornel, Fasching, Karabacek and possibly Olofsson/possler

This is a weird year for the AHL team. We've had quite a few guys that basically skipped the AHL level in recent years and a bunch that aren't ready for the AHL yet. It's made it interesting for them to put together a team in Rochester for this year.

He's the one I have hopes for. He's Fasching-ating

But I didn't realize how many were coming next year. If Bailey can take a step and get a center that team could be pretty good. Would like to start doing well in Rochester and have them get the feel of winning. Gotta bring up that "Winning culture"
