He was pretty inconsistent the first month of the season, maybe a bit longer. Since the team has tightened up and gelled a bit he has been stellar.

Lehner is going nowhere and ullmark need time in the A. Whether thats this season and/or next we have no idea what lehner is going to provide and will need a backup who has shown the ability that he can carry the load at an average or better rate for extended periods of time.

You don't know who the other people are...they have to be brought in to a story somehow. Just go with the flow rather than worry about who every character is. he was an important guy to the rebels, what more do you need to know?

He is currently playing with gionta and larsson. Larsson is shooting 2.7%, gionta 5%, girgs 3.6%.

None of them average even 2 shots a game. Larsson is barely cracking 1 shot a game. Yet when i see girgensons on the ice, alot of the time he is driving play. He cant do it himself.

I saw it last week for "research"...now we're going later this week as a family - I had to make sure it was OK for the little ones.

He was coming off a season where he went 17-4-3 and had a .925 sv% when he got his current contract of 1.3m. That is top-end backup money. You don't pay backup goalies big money.

Yea i would have said the same about him this season. I also thought he would have had a more offensive role. Not playing with washed up scrub gionta and cant figure out what he is in the NHL larsson.

On a PP thats been top 10 in the league all year, id say he would have a few more goals/assists at this time even getting 2nd unit time. Everyone knows what being a part of a couple goals can do for someones offensive confidence.

If it is the system and there is no telling what lehner does, why wouldnt you keep the backup /split starter in that system, maybe even at a slight raise then to 1.75. I think two years would be OK.

If he thinks he can get more elsewhere good luck to him. You roll with lehner and ullmark. Or find another option that can probably provide average numbers and continue to groom ullmark in the A.
