Tonight is gonna get ugly. Hoping they dont target one of our young guys. I could see Kane fighting tonight. I think hes the only one that could take on Wilson

Delauries has done some good work against bigger guys in the past. I think all the chirping wilson did at him sets the tone for those two.

Id like to see it get ugly, good old time hockey. Time to keep the heads up.

After the swiss performance yesterday, i was not expecting this kind of letdown from them.

Game is already well over and its not even out of the first period.

Unfortunately, Sweden already has the pool locked up.

How does it work then, 1v4 2v3 in the pool?

If thats the case it looks likely that the US faces canada in the quarterfinals.

The US will take 2nd and play whoever ends up in 3rd in the other pool. Right now that would be Finland.

This of course, assumes they don't blow it today and beat Denmark tomorrow.

Ahh ok so the seeding goes cross-pool.

I think that is more favorable than playing canada in the quarters. Though im sure the building would be rockin for finland.

That could very well change. I'm just saying if everything ended today, they would be playing Finland.

It actually sucks that the Swiss took Canada to overtime, because Canada only got 2 points for the win. If they won in regulation, they would have got 3. A win over Sweden would force a 3-way tie, and the tie-breaker would go to goal differential, which the US looks like they would have won with the game today and playing Denmark tomorrow.

I hope we somehow magically win the lottery for the #2 or #3 pick and take Chychrun or Puljujaarvi

Does Murray take the Canadian yet raised and trained in Florida defenseman?

Or a pure sniping winger to play with his franchise center?

I think no matter where the US seeds here they have a good shot. The defense is strong and the goalie has made some big saves at some big times.

This offensive outburst is encouraging too here. Matthews and tkachuk are putting on a show.

Anyone have any impressions on Colin White? He ended up going #21 to Ottawa in the Lehner trade.

Henrik Tallinder...

But im sure you only care about ripping apart Evander Kane

- MCGUIZZY

Only problem is that when he was accused he was playing in europe because of the NHL strike. He was one of three accused. Charges were dropped two days later. And he was released from his club because of it, and banned from his national team for one year, even though his name was cleared.

Do you think TM will suspend, release or do anything to Kane?

By the time the Tallinder was back playing for the Sabres his name had been cleared, he caused our club zero distractions and missed no practices because of it.

You want to act like this is all about race...it's not. It's about garbage.
