I will be booing because he had just spent Christmas with his girlfriend, and as soon as she leaves he is out bedding some girl he doesn't even know, whether or not she alleges sexual misconduct. I will be booing because he charters helicopter rides to baseball games. And I will be booing because I care more about the success of this team than he does.

There was a reason Kane was singled out in the locker room by his teammates in Winnipeg. He is a bad egg. We took their trouble off of them and paid a huge price. I never hear Winnipeg fans complaining or questioning that trade. I only hear good riddance, and that he was nothing but trouble.

Tim Murray paid a premium price for a guy with character issues. Murray does deserve criticism. There was no need to take a chance on a guy, notorious for his bad reputation. No need at all.

I don't want Kane in the same locker room as Eichel, Reinhart and Ristolainen. He is a cheating womanizer who doesn't give his best. You don't go out to Encore and get trashed the night before a matinee game. That is called letting your teammates down and it's probably why his teammates in Winnipeg wanted him gone.

Can't say I blame them. I'd be doing the same thing. I'd obviously prefer players don't party too hard the day before a game if that happens but that comes with maturity.

For what it isn't worth here's my guess...

Kane, being the obvious playboy that he is, has a side piece(s) in Buffalo. After seeing what happened with P. Kane and knowing about E. Kane's ploy to win back the heart of Miss Teigen over the summer, could it be possible that someone saw an opportunity to exploit him & put a couple money phones in their purse? Almost happened to Jagr over the summer until he acted like a boss. Hell, even Marty B was hittin' and eventually married his wife's sister in law. Let's be real, hockey players are dirty dogs and this is nothing that should come as a suprise. Especially now with the internet watching every public figures every move.

Was he having an affair with someone? Probably. Did he rape someone? Sounds questionable from the start but I'm leaning towards no. We'll find out soon.

Do I still love seeing him in the blue & gold. HELL YES.
