I didn't get to watch the US/Canada game the other day. How did our guy look?
- HonkFortheGoose

To be honest, I didn't notice him much, which, according to the old cliche, is a good thing. It's also hard to do, though, when you are watching at a bar with no sound.

He did get the assist on the game winning goal, which was a soft wrister from the point that got deflected.

It's not drama. It's real (frank)ing life. It's really (frank)ing serious. Maybe you don't think so, but that just tells me a lot more about you than I really ever needed to know. Sorry my sense of humor isn't as sick and twisted as yours apparently is.
- HonkFortheGoose

This is officially now drama class.
And I don't need to know about your eye glass exams / laser surgery.
Your dog breaking its leg.
What time you got up and how long you say you jogged.
Get my point?
Let's see smitty get all dramatic about that, shall we.... as he asks, "I thought this was a hockey message board" ?

Settle down, Dave.
- TheSabresTaco

Smell yourself when making comments about the board being dragged down.

Most of you like to assert yourselves as being fairly intelligent, so lets see if you can comprehend why you are legitimately more at fault?

I bet this turns into a race thing as well

Also does he or doesn't he play?

- Stripes77

Apparently he wanted to play a few evenings ago and was told no.

Caps will be a huge test tonight. I'm squeezing for the Sabres as hard as I can.

good to see the clown back on the board. 89 still MIA is sad, especially if he could give some insights into the team's frame of mind.

Beyond that, I got nothing.

Kane is at the morning skate. Skating on his normal line with Eichel and Ennis. Looks like he is playing. It should be interesting to see the reaction he gets from the crowd.

I think Kane will be fine.
I have 6 childhood friends that I grew up with that are in the BPD.
A few have told me that the story isn't adding up for the alleged victim.
That's all I say.

I was surprised at how badly P. Kane got booed last weekend. Especially considering that he was never even arrested or anything and all the charges were dropped.

Yeah but he was wearing the wrong colors. If he was in Blue and Gold all would be forgiven.

Is Buffalo enjoying Bogo and Kane now?.... Two players with every physical skill to be dominate players and two players with almost no hockey sense. Bogo cannot stay healthy for plenty of "reasons" and Kane cannot stay out of the news.... Kane will be gone from Buffao in 2 years or less, he has a shelf-life.
- jjonah

Well, I don't think anyone could have foreseen this. Pics demonstrating immaturity aare one thing, serious legal issues are another.
I hope Either Kane is gone before 2 years, or he learns how to properly play a puck possession game and not take random shots from 75 feet out causing turnover upon turnover. If he learns that aspect and changes his shot selection, he could be a terrific player...he can learn, whether he chooses to is another question.

Bogo I'm good with, you can have the 6'7" wussy.

I don't recall him ever being booed like that in Buffalo before. With the exception of last year, I've been to all the Chicago games here in Buffalo over the past 5-6 years.

I would like to see Kane develop a better offensive repetoire than the hard shot wide and the bull rush down the side, bank puck off the boards to self, and then bullrush the net (with option to shoot wide before getting all the way to the blue ice.)

But I think he makes other contributions on the forecheck and jamming up other opponents that are underappreciated because they're not obviously contributing to the score sheet (LionEater is getting similarly undeserved criticism for his lack of scoresheet numbers this year).

I like Bogo's game and would keep him.

Because I think they fit into the GMTM mold far more than either Staff or Myers did, I still like the trade, even if Staff and Myers are producing points at a slightly higher pace than Kane and Bogo. Armia and Lemieux, in my mind, are non factors by this point.

I like to consider myself sort of a feminist in that I'm for women's rights and I almost always support accusers without question until proven otherwise. In this case, however, I just cannot picture the guy that took 50 kids from a Boys and Girls club to dinner and Christmas shopping turning around a few days later and sexually assaulting someone.

The many Catholic Priests who committed long histories of child molestation, and the Church that covered it up for years...the same Church that projects itself as the protector of human life and dignity...well it waves its' hands, says Ya about that perspective...
