I like to consider myself sort of a feminist in that I'm for women's rights and I almost always support accusers without question until proven otherwise. In this case, however, I just cannot picture the guy that took 50 kids from a Boys and Girls club to dinner and Christmas shopping turning around a few days later and sexually assaulting someone.

Condon is dealing with what a lot of new NHL goalies go through. They find success relatively quick but once there's tape on them and teams start to figure out their tendencies, they struggle more. It happened with Hammond and Darling last year. While Condon isn't bad, he's not Price and that makes a big difference. Especially when the team is also missing one of their top forwards.

Thing about Condon, even when he was helping the team win so often while Gallagher was still healthy, he was continually being referred to as an above average goalie. There's certainly some truth to the matter of figuring out a goalie, sure, but that entire team has sank without Gally.

What's odd here is that either the team has just absolutely lost it's confidence or the Gally is more of a catalyst than Price.

Not me. I was up at 5:45 and in the gym by 6:45. Got my 3 miles in before I started my work day.

We should all have learned from the Pat Kane incident that you can't jump to conclusions. It's probably going to take months to sort his out, just like the PK one. Until that's done, I have nothing else to say about it.

The only thing i wonder is if the NHL handles this situation any differently than the Pat Kane one... A lot of people felt PK shouldn't of been allowed to training camp let alone play games. But that's Stanley Cup series goal scoring Pat Kane... i wonder if EK gets same treatment or if NHL tries to toughen up its stance

Well, considering what I came in to find today, you're probably right. But that's my stance on it.

I did get a little inside info from someone on the PK one recently that basically reinforced what I had suspected.

If he were, then he could go after the NHL for singling him out at this point. The lack of response from the NHL in the PK incident has now set a precedent. What the NHL probably needs to do is get some sort of policy worked out over the upcoming offseason so that going forward, they have a set list of rules for this type of thing.
