Hat, why don't they do more heated walkways and sidewalks?

Are they cost prohibitive and unreliable long term?

They have a few here in the capital and they're great in the winter.

One stretch of heated sidewalk with electric heat at Canal side needed to be replaced because the "Site Contractor" destroyed it with a piece of heavy equipment along side the canal wall where the Zamboni comes in directly under the skyway.

Every run for the electric heating on that site was approximately 60' (feet).
So even when only a small area is damaged , the entire run has to be taken out and redone, including the wiring.
That piece was only 60' x 8' and cost $15,000 to take out, re wire and re-pour so it gets pretty expensive.

The same goes for the tubing system or "Glycol system".
Which was used at ECMC's front entrance and runs all the way down to Grider street. Even though that is much easier to work with when placing your concrete on it.
The electric heat is so delicate that even while dumping concrete on it I was very concerned about friction and too much movement (consolidation) of the concrete on and around those wires...its not easy to say the least and if messed up you can become a big loser pretty quick.

It all gets pretty expensive if something goes wrong.

It for sure has it advantages for the cost, and in my opinion should be used in and around Hospitals, sporting arenas etc.

And he complained to the refs. More like Sam Whinehart

I bet his dog is a whinereiner, his favorite singer is Amy whinehouse, he flys American Airwhines, his watch is not digital (it's a whinedup), his favorite video game is Whinecraft, and he subscribes to chees-the-month-club....so he can pair up all his whines.

He had a tough night, and I don't know if he played much or at all the last half of the game.

My driveway during and after with the artist at work.
You'll never see another one like it anywhere.
Complete with a custom exposed aggregate curb along the fence line.

It's crazy to think that the 05-06 team is 10 years gone already

And it's only been a couple years that the local airwaves have been void of folks lamenting the losses of Drury and Briere. I swear I was sicker hearing about it than actually losing them.
Better times are ahead, no doubt.

We had one where I worked on Long Rd. In Grand Is. It was nice. We had a place to feed the feral cats all winter long.

I thought this was a place to talk hockey... If I wanted to hear about someone bragging about his money and what he does I'd turn on fox covering trump

Most people like to drink in their twenties, but how can you piss away a multi million dollar career? It's just said. He had the size, grit, and just enough talent to be another Lucic.

Go Bills!
I'd like to see the Bills test their players capabilities and the Mindset of the Coaches to better understand where the stack up for next year

I am a cat person. I have 3 black ones. Two rescues and a baby of one of them. I had 4 but one recently died at age 16.

Awww that's wonderful of you !!
A very very close friend of mine is a big part of that Ten Lives Club.

She works full time and with whatever time she has left that she can possibly stand on her feet she devotes to taking care of , taking in and nursing back to health so many of these cats.

And I soooo love her for it.

I have one that she nursed back to health from the brink of death.

They need items all the time if you have ever thought of donating they could always use it because its all volunteer work .

My praying can be bought for a very reasonable 10% of all winnings.

My not praying is much more reasonable at 9.5% of the total $$ pool.

My latest cat was from 10 lives. She's awesome. We lost all 3 of our "old timers" who were 15 in the last year and a half, as well as our sheperd mix who we got from the Buffalo Animal Shelter in 2000. We also just got Nina, our black lab mix from BAS last month.
