Not sure how to answer this...

b/c Bobrovsky is injured?
b/c he's a young, athletic, cheap, potential starting goalie?
b/c he adds to a package of players to address a position of weakness for CBJ?

It's a bigger position of weakness for Vancouver, so they might as well hang onto him in that case.

LOL on the trades men. What are all of you in real life, professional pickpockets?

This is not the first time this has happened to RJ in his career, and the CBJ is paying him a lot of cash. I have not seen him or the team play recently, so I don't know if it deserved or not, but I have a hard time believing that the HCJT would do this without the knowledge and approval of the front office.

Look, this season started bad from Game 1, and it has blossomed from a campfire to Chicago Fire of 1875, and it is all on the players, not the coaches or the front office. If the coach feels the scratch is warranted, have at it. You reap what you sew is true in sports and real life.

As a season ticket holder I have watched RJ for his whole CBJ career. This is something off with his game this year. When I hear people say he is lazy and can agree from the standpoint of him not playing defense. My biggest issue with him is when he is near the end of a shift he puts it in neutral and just cruises back to the bench. There have been many times where the opposing team is coming up ice on an odd man rush and Joey is taking his time getting back to the bench. Hustle off the ice to get a fresh player on!
Any trade of RJ better bring back a #1 defenseman! Otherwise it would be a waste of a trade chip. Give Torts some time to bring out the full potential of this Kid.

Torts has never brought out the full potential of anyone.
