Apparently Cam Fowler is another name for Trevor Daley...I can see where the confusion comes from...

DiPietro (1st overall) and Raffi Torres (5th overall) in 2000 was a challenge to pass.

DiPietro was good until injuries, the jokes old, and your hockey knowledge is subpar.

With three goals Nick Bonino would be a scoring machine on the Ducks.
While I would love to have Bonino back I am a firm believer in never trading defense for offense. Besides, I was just having some fun with a Pens fan.
And yes, trading Lindholm is crazy. He's going to be incredible sooner than later.

Holy crap. Things are looking up for the Pens!

Just getting rid of Scuderi counts as a win... but they even managed to add a desperately needed puck moving defenseman in return. Worst case scenario, Daley plays like he did in Chicago and is somewhat invisible on the ice - that's still better than being a total liability like the guy he's replacing. Best case, he regains the form he had last year in Dallas. I love this move for Pittsburgh. What the hell was Bowman thinking?

I don't care if we're retaining some of Scuderi's salary, just getting him off the roster is going to help us going forward.

There is a reason everyone that isn't a Pens fan and has watched Scuderi said this deal is not good for CHI.

Don't think there is a winner. Hawks get cap space and Pens get a slightly better Dman. Scuderi as 3rd pair Dman is fine and Pens are retaining 1/3 of it. Daley was only getting 3rd pair mins in Chicago.

Shocked that it took only Scudari to get Daly.I guess bowman will just bury him in the minors and find a more suitibla defensman.

Hawks run their top 4 defense hard. So I would agree it's a close trade but still think pens win. It depends if you think scuds is as bad as the analytic guys. If he's servicable as a leader 6 dman playing ten minutes a night and killing penalties then he can work out for hawks

The million plus in cap space could mean something to the hawks.

At the end of the year if hawks buy scuderi out with pens retaining 1/3 how does that work on cap. also with 1/3 retained scuds is only owed 2.5 so he might be something hawks can trade easily.
