I'm still waiting for the day when Ek gives it up and finally admits, "You know, I've been making this up for years. When you think about it for 2 seconds, it's pretty obvious. I have no legit sources, and my rating system is a joke (e4)." |

You're onto something. All of the rumors in this blog were discussed in the last few comment sections from Ed Stein's blogs. So its almost like Ek has this "Rumor Feedback Loop" going. |

Do you think Eklund records his phone conversations or employs a stenographer? |

The Ducks have talked to several teams including Buffalo...who likes Anderson...
YES.....I hope Santa brings us a goalie with 4 wins on the season, it'll be a nice mantle piece alongside our existing display of mediocre to average goaltenders. |

Its actually AndersEn.
Lindholm/Vatanen rfa after this year. Fowler has taken a big step forward this year, and that's without his usual D partner (Despres). I going out on a limb here and thinking if a move is made (with Theodore ready to step up), it might be Lindholm that's moved. |

Ugh... I'm more interested in Fowler and Lindholm over Anderson. |

Makes for cheap amusement when you're bored at work or school. My sources are telling me that Fowler to the Jackets is almost a lock...

This is the exact definition of the pot calling the kettle black
Now give me a 10 point rationale of how Cowen has value and is on the same career path as Chara |

I don't think you were paying attention to how well Andersen was playing at the first of the year, if it wasn't for the sickness that kept him sidelined for almost 2 weeks he would still be the number 1 undisputed starter in Anaheim, and his stats would be reflecting better based on the better game the ducks have been playing the last two weeks.
That being said, yes the Sabres do have quite the existing display of mediocre to average goaltenders. I think that though still unproven for long term consistency, Andersen would be a much better goalie option for Buffalo long term. Andersen will be moved at some point this season or in the summer and will be the starter wherever he goes. There's a good chance a lot of fan's will be wishing their teams had grabbed him on the cheap when they had the chance in the future. |

Cant, we are using JVR to pry Seth Jones out of Nashville. |

Cam Fowler for Jeff Skinner might be the least logical trade the Hurricanes could possibly do.
Nothing like trading away your best goalscorer for a defenseman when you're offensively starved and have tons of D prospects. - BINGO!
Logic doesn't matter here, this comes from a very "trusted" source, not just any source... TRUSTED... |

Yeah, I'll readily admit I don't know much about him, but the combined 4 wins and 11 losses on the season is a bit of a question mark for him and I'd imagine will definitely affect the return you're going to get.
Gotta see consistency in a goaltender to get a big return, I mean, even our current tenders have showed flashes of brilliance through a few games or so, then back down to reality for a time. |
