Raymond had a good season, santorelli helped us get a 1st and good prospect and mathias might fetch a 2nd or 3rd/4th package...you really do have some leafs butthurt beatle joan!

Gonna have to help you out here....BJ was responding to a Leafs fan who claimed the Canucks have a history of drooling over Leaf cast offs....he stated that UFA Sundin was one and countered with a rather large list of former Canucks that played with the Leafs later on.

Absolutely different year. Doesn't mean some other GM won't be dumb/desperate enough come TDL to overpay.

Okay...if Martin Jones can get a 1st round pick, Zac Rinaldo can get a 3rd round pick, Robin Lehner can get a 1st round pick, etc....you get the idea. I don't personally think Luke Schenn is worth more than a 3rd, at best, but as they say, there's a sucker born every minute, and it seems like the NHL is filled with more of them every day. As a fan of the Flyers and their former GM Paul Holmgren, I know this is true.

TML always lose out by the 3rd round, Vancouver always loses out by the last round. In the end, they both lose, so why does it matter? I'm not going to gloat on either team, because the Flyers have lost by the last round for 40+ years. They just lose better than some other teams.

In schenns defense, he'd looked much better this season. He's cut down on bad turnovers in his own zone, keeping his game simple. He's looked much better

If you think you are getting more than a third rounder or B prospect , then you are sadly mistaken and Canucks would find something else .

I think Canucks will finish bottom 10 this year so you can rule out their first second or third round pick. We do have an extra third round pick this year .

Schenn would be stupid to re-sign with Flyers after so many healthy scratches, and will be a UFA in a couple of months .
