I wish it was that easy, kidney failure is painful, it's like someone continually stabbing me with a sword in the back....not fun. Booner is in a lot more trouble than me, my prayers are with him.

remember I'm in medicine....I don't work with kidneys but do have a solid knowledge of pathologies involving them.

My advice would be to eliminate all use of advil / ibuprofen as it's extremely toxic to kidneys. 20 advil will kill you from kidney failure so it shows how bad it is for kidneys. Don't believe it? read the insert in the package....that's what renal toxicity and renal failure means.

had a friend (who used advil regularly) whose kidneys I tracked by tests since he deteriorated....he stopped using advil and retested 9 months after and he got almost back to normal,

cant believe this crap is available off the shelf.

Can't you overdose on tylenol (acetaminophen) quite easily too...and doesn't that (frank) with the kidneys as well?

I am sure Lefty and Booner won't be on here looking for our medical expertise , but rather our indepth hockey knowledge ( maybe not) . So I will say Booner and Lefty you are family, get well soon and don't stop fighting . You are both too young. We are here for you .
