I love the amount of negativity in this post about a Defenseman that got a hat trick last night.

In all fairness Goose, he is not that great in his own end.

He's not even good.

I mean let's just call a spade a spade, right?

He was drafted as a defenseman not a forward.

I'd be happier if he were better in his own end rather than him scoring a hat trick.

I kid you not!

Especially seeing that just about all of d-core sucks in their own end.

I'd rather have one ace in the hole that this team can depend on to shut down the other team in his own end and we still don't have that with all of the moves that Murray has made.

I want him to do what he was drafted to do and is paid to do better, I want him to be a better defenseman.

As I stated, perhaps I am just becoming impatient out of my pure frustration with our franchises and their continued ineptness at building a winner or even making the playoffs for that matter, but my frustration is certainly warranted.

with the trades we made, we did deplete a lot of our organizational depth and assets. When we were the worse team in the league last year, we had ALOT better goaltending then we have now. We have players on this roster who are not NHL caliber players.
Gionta,Larsson,deslauriers,legwand,moulson(he is going thru motions)weber,johnson,ullmark(not yet),cal Oreilly,colaiacovo, foligno(borderline) that is half of your roster. We are a lot farther away then people think. The lehner trade was a big mistake. Bylsma playing Gionta 20 minutes a game makes me wonder about him. Every power play every overtime he is out there. The decision to make Eichel live with moulson is a joke, he should be traded
