I don't really think it's a problem that we pay for the PM's kids' nannies really. Quite frankly i think it's completely normal.

I do find it neat however was that a large part of his campaign was the modification if the universal child benefit under the premise that wealthy families like his shouldn't rreceive financial assistance to take care of their kids.

...if he's not in office, working practically every waken hour of a day, expected to make public appearances at all hours of the day (same as Harper before him), then yes, I agree he shouldn't get any help...and he wouldn't under that scenario once the reform takes place, as I'm sure he wouldn't be getting anymore UCCBs... but the nannies for the PM are something separate from that, which comes from the nature of his job. I think anyboady with half a brain can understand that. Says a lot that I had to explain it to you.
