You're listening to a bunch of clueless idiots. They are terrible.

As sports radio goes I think they are generally pretty good. I think Chris Nilan is the best former player in the broadcast business in terms of telling it pretty straight up. On the other hand, a few of the other guys at 690 are just Canadiens cheerleaders. They overhyped the team coming out of the gates and are now having to deal with their premature exclamations.

TSN 690 is nothing but a bunch of clowns.

Nilan is senile.

WOW, watched the last ten minutes of the Habs game last night.

The look in Condon's eyes, after the Sabres took the lead said it all. The body language of the whole team spoke volumes too.

The GM has painted himself into a corner when he announced the coach (and his staff) would be there through to the end of the season.

Perhaps the Sens and Habs can schedule their season ending golf tourney together?

The Panthers and Capitals don't suck.I'd argue all those tems are in a better spot going forward than Montreal.

Listening to TSN 690 Montreal they seem to be confident that either the coach is about to be fired or there is a large trade about to be announced.

Neither Happened.
Therrien is fine. The MVP has been out so he has a safe excuse.

A good team really shouldn't just fall apart, even if their top goalie is a great one.
The Habs were in a great spot, prior to Price going down with his injury. It's evidently been a disaster for them ever since.

If Price comes back soon, and is in top form. Also, the team gets their confidence back, then I think they have enough time to salvage the season, and make the playoffs. They are running out of time though.

Scrivens and Condon aren't Carey Price. Decent backups, but that's about all.

Agree, whenever you remove a "starter" from the lineup, and move players up in the depth chart, whether from bottom 6 (forwards)to top six, or bottom pairing (dMen) to top pairing, and them fill in the bottom sports from the press box or the AHL, the team will most likley always function below Par.

Yup. Unless an NHL team has a real deep, talented minor league team, they're likely going to suffer some major losses. The Habs have some decent young talent in St. John's, but not a goalie who can miraculously step in like a Pat Roy decades ago, and take the team by the reigns.

Moving other guys up the depth chart will either work, or it won't, depending on if that said player has the talent to be a 2nd or 1sr line C or LW/ or D. Or, if the said player can luckout and have good chemistry with his new 1st or 2nd line teammates.
