Apparently he was still traveling today, so it'll be the weekend.

Maybe I'm mis-reading this, but is Jon Abbott suggesting that Virt could play with the Comets AND Team Canada on the same day this weekend? That seems a bit much.

Great win. Wild third period. Nervous for Hamhuis. Hope he's OK.

And yes, I also cringed at the thought that Weber will draw back in.

Thanks bud. Been a tough go but the grieving process is going smoother than I thought.

Got a very large group of family and friends around me. Aswell as my brothers on HB.

And my sista Carol

Could not forget the Canuck Queen.

Not that I wish him ill or anything, but Hamhuis kinda did that to himself. That was a terrible give away and then being off balance and in front of the net.

Petit petit for me, a red blend from Cali. It's one of my go to bottles. No jazz though.

True. And he was having a rough night even before that happened. I haven't been as hard on him this season as a lot of you, but I really noticed how much trouble he had with the puck in the first two periods, as well as taking two penalties against a team as dangerous as the Rangers.

I'm hoping for maybe a broken nose or soft tissue injury. No broken jaw or cheekbone or concussion. It is positive that he skated off the ice under his own power.

Nice. I've never had the Pinot but KC is always solid.

Heard he was taken to hospital. Hope it's not too bad and allows him time to heal up over Xmas holidays

I recommend it, paid $24 all in and think it's worth the price.

Ow, I've had a broken jaw playing beer league baseball from a pitcher that tossed a chin tickler but got more chin then tickle, and that's only a 60-70km/h fastball. I can only imagine how much that's got to be worse taking a slapshot from a pro athlete to the face.

That would be slick Willie...
coach Willie Desjardins said. "I would assume it probably broke his jaw up there. He'll probably spend the night in the hospital, but everything's fine."

Broken Jaw, Night in the hospital and everythings fine doesnt really mesh well in the same sentence.
