Amen to that! That outlet pass allowed for some time and space through the neutral zone into the offensive zone, something we have not seen ALL year! Wonderful play on all ends, great snipe by Beau!

Could it be that Beau actually shook one off? That looked painful...

Dude got hurt celebrating a goal. I'm gonna hold out on being optimistic until he takes his pads off and allows for the swelling to kick on the knee before I'm hopeful that he can shake something like that off.

The slow mo on that hit looks like an MCL sprain, 4-6 weeks. But its Beau and he was looking pretty decent out there so probably 12-14 months?

Thought it was a good team game. Maybe the best of the season. Granted COL is a very bad team. Fittingly Bennett plays well and gets hurt. That's why I wanted Hornqvist up there. No chance Bennett should be relied upon to play top 6 minutes. Sammy probably cut himself out of spite for Bennett's goals.

BB showed up preseason as well so if he's playing well either leave him in a fixed line - the 3rd line, or give home time on SIDS line & leave him there to get some familiarity with Sid. Chopping & changing is only asking for trouble - (frank) it!!!!

I think Bennett is a decent player but it doesn't matter if he can't stay healthy. Looks like he has a significant knee injury tonight so I wouldn't plan on him making it back this season. It's not pessimism, it's reality.

How the hell did we kill 5 pp's including a 5 on 3 without Scuds? I thought our PK was doomed without him. Wish Sprong would have scored that goal....even further demonstrating the poor personnel choices.

I didn't hear a reason. Letang came back and Warsofsky doesn't look out of place. So somebody has to sit and surprisingly MJ made the right call.

Warsofksy might not be much more than a 7 or 8, but he's better than Scuderi....and not by a little. He's competent with the puck on his stick. Fairly decent PP player. Better than we probably expected.

Aren't the Pens 3-0 without Scuderi in the lineup? Small sample I know but come on!

I know the Avs aren't a good team, but I was thinking to myself how noticeable it was not having Scuds making his 5 or 6 awful plays. Whether they end up in the net or not, he always makes a handful of egregious errors that make you wince and groan.

The most encouraging thing of late is Maatta seems to be rounding into form. If he can be a nice compliment to Letang, suddenly the top 4 is fairly competent.

Are saying that maybe, just maybe, if we get to see what we have we might have an acceptable top 4???

There's too many on here that say we suck & don't have legitimate top D men!! So I don't believe you!

He will make it through December most likely... since the NHL is now going to remove the "coach compensation" draft pick stuff to start 2016. No need to throw away a draft pick just to fire him a week early.
