At least when Mason was yanked, Flyers did up their play and started bombarding Halak. Deserved 2 but those are the breaks.

Thank god Lecavalier is retiring tomorrow. Silver lining.

It sucks. He's not going to be able to carry his kid on his shoulders to the ice with this issue

If the flyers bring that effort every night. They'll win some of the games

They lost in the shootout, but it was a still a big point to get, after being down 2-1 early. Flyers were dominant in the 2nd period and were the better team in the game. The Flyers are in a stretch where their playoff chances could be buried with a slump. Great to see them bounce back and not give into adversity. Bellemare could've had a hat trick tonight with a little luck.

The forward that went off on the change, taking away any weak side in the neutral zone, is what allowed the entry to develop. MacDonald in that situation had no choice but to back in there. It's confirmation bias, and looking to see something that you want to see. I've been watching the entire game, and MacDonald has played solidly, and defended entries no differently than any other defenseman has. Whatever, you'll find a way to blame MacDonald.

I understand why Medvedev got a go. Guy has forward hands.

Watched the replay 4 times. You're wrong about the play, and wrong about MacDonald, in the game. The analysis you offered on that play, proves it.

It's been a while since they outplayed and out hustled a team but lost...but your right it's a good point...they didn't fold up after getting down 3-1.

I think they deserved better, but as usual, there's no merit points in hockey. They could've folded after getting down 3-1 but they didn't. They came out and dominated and took over the game. It's a big point. I believe most games, Mason will make one of those saves. I also think that the Simmonds no goal, was somewhat questionable.

He was so far back to begin with he had no choice but to keep back pedaling. Wasn't the worst, and I could give him a pass if that wasn't his MO. It wasn't terrible in a vacuum. He is Ben Carson passive through the NZ. Horrid gap control. It's his biggest bugaboo. Back skates until he has to get caught in between and try to just block it.

He had a decent game otherwise, but that facet of his game will never change. And always be lacking. Your denial of THAT is the bias we all know and love. I'm happy he's back up for you. I really am.

You think he deserves a top 6 spot? Not being a Richard, seriously curious.

Rinaldo was always lethal shooting in practice.

But seriously, you see him dangle in games all the time. Guy has great hands. Wouldn't shock me if he is good in practice. Clearly that's his go to move.

I was more bugged by Simmonds being in the shootout. Medvedev has good hands & moves. No issue with him going

Simmer is an awful shootout player by the eye, but he had a great year last year in it. His shooing percentage was like 33% it said. My mind says yuck, but he's had some success. Voracek isn't good at it either. With Gagner out, it's a shootout poop show. We should just be happy VDV didn't get a chance.
