the coaching staff has to go back to balanced lines that combine the strengths of the team , which are youth , toughness ,and finesse .
d.sedin/h.sedin/baertshi
burrows/McCann/vrbata
dorsett/horvat/hansen
higgins/cracknel/prust
virtanen - onesmallleap
Virtanen is better in than Higgins, Dorsett should go to the 4th line and never play above that. |

i think we win the next two because both teams are not that physical and play to the nucks strength, but long term without Stellar goaltending we are wasting a very good sedin year on a mid-range draftpick - onesmallleap
I wouldn't pencil in any wins . We may be the worst team now |

We all new this is coming. We just have to hope it doesn't last a decade. |

Loowingo should have been a Laff. It was a done deal and Nonuts demanded that Van retain 45% of his salary 5 min before TDL. Just imagine how good the Laffs would have been with Lou letting in 3-4 per game with the flop.
I'm still ok with the Schneider deal as Horvat will be ok once he gets the linemates to get out of the funk.
If it all gets us to a developed Demko we are all good. Markstrom will be decent but it will be Demko that gets us back to contention. |

Wow I just caught the hilites as I was at my Dad's 75th bday event last night. We now are tied bottom 3 in the league for regualtion wins?? Tanner was right?
Actually it's not so bad being involved in the Matthews sweeps.
What happened with Prust did he fire a puck at Marchand??

Yeah Luongo hurting our draft position would have been a great idea. And how about that contract he was given. It goes until he's 43 years old. And James Reimer is currently playing better than Luongo. |

The lack of center depth, behind Hank, in the organization is really showing right now. Benning (and Linden) in all their wisdom are just hanging a 19 year old rookie and a slumping 20 year old sophomore center out to dry.
Looking forward to when the ice breaks and some moves are made. Lars Eller from Montreal would be nice right about now!! |

Eller has been getting 2nd line minutes you think the Habs trade him now?
We need so much more than Eller it's ridiculous.
What 2nd line center is available right now that can score? Affordable?
Hamonic should be back on the radar to start and if it costs us Tanev and a prospect so be it. |

No - there was talk this summer about trading for him is what I meant. Of course they need a lot more, we all knew they're about to bottom out after ten years of excellent hockey, I personally just didn't expect it to happen this soon.
That said, they've had three good drafts in a row, the future looks good, especially if they have two more good drafts.
I just hope their drafts turn out like Winnipeg or Ottawa's, not Edmonton's or Toronto's |

So this is it hey, this is what it feels like to have a poopty team, it's awful, I'd forgotten how bad it tastes it's been so long. Oilers and Leaf fans have suffered tremendously |
