Not the last 3-5 games he isn't. Bruce, I've stuck up for Naz all seasons...its not the points I'm looking for, its the number of flybys or disconnected joystick moments I've noticed from Naz the last 3-5 games.

I'm guessing Babcock has noticed it too as his icetime has been coming down. only 16 minutes each of the last two games.

No player is 100% awesome every game. Its ok a player is not the best player for several games. the leafs have been losing..so these things are more noticeable.

I'm not cherry picking any stat...I'm just watching the game and how he gave away a prime scoring opportunity to pad his SHOT's on net stat.

Obviously he makes some real good plays too...I think he's our best C and I don't need to look at shot attempts (any stats ) to see it. I think if he had less shot attempts he'd be having a lot better year.

Just stating it was a bad play to just shoot for the sake of shooting, and noticing he shoots a lot from areas that are poor scoring areas and people thinking he will eventually score more because of it. It's just not true...unless you are unleashing an Ovie like blast or shooting against the JB's of hockey

Dude, I could care less that the Leafs are losing. I'm only stating what I've been seeing from Naz lately. I agree with you wholeheartedly with Naz on most things, but I (and I think Babcock is too) am seeing a player that has done many things right this season start to resort to some old, and some new bad habits. Maybe its only an anomaly, but I'm concerned by it. You're not wrong to like the player, but be a little more objective. When he plays like poop, admit it.

if you are talking about Corsi/Fenwick as Possession (which it sounds like you are not), it measures shot attempts while you are on the ice whether you take them or your line mate.

Oilers fans STILL think they can get full value for the first rounders and 1st overalls and can't seem to expect that the team's play actually does affect the value of the "leaders" and the "stars" of the team.

a couple percent over 26 games...that's using 1.5 shots/gm

If I had my sheet from home which keeps track of Kadri's wasted shots I'd know if the # was a little higher

edit: but if he makes a pass and then gets in a better spot and scores on a few of those shots...the percentage would go up quite a bit
