Agreed, same with Reinhart.
- sbroads24

I don't know man.
From what I have been watching,
Reinhart normally always seems to be in the right position.
Such a high hockey IQ he has.
I'll say this again.
I said this I believe 2 weeks ago.
I don't care about the numbers at all.
But in my own opinion, Reinhart has been better than Eichel all around.
But, its just my opinion.
I have enjoyed watching Reinhart more than Jack to be honest.
Jack likes to pull into that high slot that teams are starting to take away from him because he has turned into a one trick pony.
Reinhart has been much more steady.
Nothing to complain about though, we have 2 very very good players developing right in front of our eyes and I am quite thankful for that !

Moving Moulson isn't going to be easy. Nor do I think he's an issue currently.

Both Moulson and Gionta bring a lot to the team that doesn't show up on the score sheet nightly. I know that you can get players to do those same things cheaper, however we didn't have that option last year. It's not like free agents were busting down Murray's door wanting to play here.

Gionta only has 1 year left after this one. Moulson has more than that, but moving him would be tricky has he has an modified NTC. It's hard to get the teams the players are willing to go to to be willing to bite in those situations, and your return is generally not as good since you're so limited.

- HonkFortheGoose

Moulson hasn't scored in 13 games now .

Well if that were the case the same could be said about Eichel.......

All kidding aside outside of Risto and ROR, nobodies production is were it should be.

- dadeadhead

Really?...it's just about what i expected.

We were by far the worst team in the league for the past two years.

Have taken a lot of young players who haven't played together, ever, and we're 20 or so games into the season and very very close to being in the middle of the pack. I'd say that's progress.

What IS unexpected and a pleasant surprise has been:

Chad J.
Our Power Play is ranked 5th
Our shots for AND against are by far much better than last season

The rest will catch up, Ennis included, just need to be patient

I think Reinhart since being moved to a top 6 role has been more consistent all around. Eichel is clearly more dynamic and can go end to end at any time, but he is pressing a bit too much right now and that IMO comes with not having line mates that can keep up with him, so he is trying to do too much solo. Get him some line mates and watch this teams top 6 be able to go with any team in the league.

Off topic but omg what a joke

That's pretty great. Soccer balls are pretty hard, and charley horses can hurt really bad, but that ball wasn't kicked very hard and he looked like he was shot. Go over to NHL refs/linesmen, during the game on Tuesday I saw a linesman get hit square in the chest by a puck shot by a Sabre on what was intended to be a hard around into the offensive zone and, while definitely stunned and grabbing his chest he stayed with the play. And as far as I know they don't have any chest protection. If so it's little more than a thin pad. They seem to have some sort of elbow pads, I always see them adjusting something under their sleeves, and obviously they wear helmets, maybe some light soccer style shin pads too because their legs look bulky, but maybe it's just their pants. Does anyone know what kind of protection officials have?

Some wear a roller hockey chest protector type shirt underneath. Some don't. Shin pads are smaller than hockey shin pads same with elbows. For a girdle its thinner than roller hockey and of course a cup to protect the boys.

Eberle for Ennis is about the only trade I would consider.

So now that Eichel has finally caught up with McDavid, he should surely pull ahead of him soon. How many games will it take McDavid to catch back up do you think?

No chance of that from an Oilers perspective.

Really don't care. McDavid is a dynamic player. We are happy with Jack Just like we would have been happy with McDavid. All his points don't seem to be helping Edmonton climb the standings . Our team is improving greatly . That is what matters.

Bad topic Pach after what was just leaked but you put a lot of effort into this one so I know why you posted it.

I don't think Eberle fits what GMTM is trying to build a big fast team, which is why I see Ennis on his way out sooner than later.

- Stripes77

What leak? The WJC thing? USA Hockey tweeted about the announcement tomorrow. That's not much of a leak.

This site is a pain to post pics to because if it's not a pic already on the internet, you have to get it there first so you can link it here.
