Yes and no.

You give your regulars a chance to find another bar to become regulars at.

Your regulars are what keeps the lights on. Without them you have no business.

- dadeadhead

Oh i completely agree, that's why i said could..... More so for new/newer customers. You are 100% correct about the regulars though. What part of Atlanta? I believe me and the family are moving to the Kennesaw area next year sometime.

new years eve is last day

it had been in the works for 6 months, they want to put condos on that land

my brother in law is so connected, it shouldn't be an issue, plus foot traffic was dropping

14 years is a long run at one location in that town

- homiedclown

Agreed.

Hope it works out for them.

So dominant he has a single point.

He's a really good possession player, which is important. But McCabe has shown flashes of being a difference maker. He has more scoring ability, more physicality

- sbroads24

Yeah to me it seems like mccabe is a better defender where pysyk is good at calming the game down and breaking out.

IDK you need to ask Homie.....

"A new broom always sweep clean" is how I've learned about new bars opening up. So I'm always skeptical.

How dare I drag on what you started. Thanks for being the bigger person.

In all seriousness, I like both players too. In no way am I attempting to criticize Mark Pysyk, he's been very good.

- sbroads24

There's gonna be a Pysyk joke every time I post now

I'm sure.

And at the same time all the finances fall upon them now.

Can be a tough nut to crack.

I'm sure they'll be fine and I wish them the best.

If I can convince my girl to take time off from work(she works 7 days a week) in the Spring, maybe we can coordinate with jochfr and you to make a long weekend out of it.

He's a top 6 winger.

They are(wingers) interchangeable and "if" they can do a trade for Fowler(with pieces added on either side) I'd do it.

- dadeadhead

Top 6? Your dreaming. On a bad team like we were the last two seasons yah ofcourse but on a good team with two solid lines? Nope. Brad Boyes would've been a top 6 the last two seasons. He's 2nd liner at best. I know that falls into top 6 but your also suggesting he is a 1st liner with that phrase which he isn't.

Also man we have ZERO need for Fowler. Our defense has been superb. We need wingers for Eichel. Ennis, Moulson and Gionta don't cut it. Okposo is one guy who comes to mind. Yakupov, Eberle, Silferberg, Hudler and Voracek would all be sick pickups.

If Ennis gets moved for Fowler then I would be okay with trading Pysyk but only if Ennis is moved for a 3 or 4 D that will be here for a while.
- Stripes77

Late to the party, I guess.

Just as an aside, if Fowler were available for a guy like Ennis, why wouldn't Edmonton pursue instead of Pysyk? I mean no disrespect, but Fowler is a much better option than Pysyk for the Oilers and Eberle is a better player than Ennis. The only thing stopping it would be the fact that the two teams share a division, but it hasn't stopped them from dealing before.

Is he though? Moulson was putting up sick numbers too playing with great talent, so why not just do that?

Besides, he's 25, it's all downhill now, so why give up the assets?

- stashu

I would say he is slightly better than Ennis, but when you figure in his $6M tag and that the Oil would expect more than Ennis in return, that would be a non starter for me from the get go.

No I'm saying he's a top 6 winger which includes the 2nd line. He is no way shape or form a bottom 6 forward which you have stated("he's a 3rd liner on a good team").

And Yak is and always will be a bum.

1st overall picks shouldn't need other players to make them better. He's supposed to be able to do that on his own and he doesn't.

He leads his team in assists by 5 at 15 and is second in points with 21 (one behind Tavares). He see's just fine IMO.
