Getzlaf isn't a great skater either. Nor was Dave Andreychuk. Granted Andreychuk played in a different time. Does Tkachuk have his fathers size? I don't know much about him.

Well, he was a grinder/enforcer so he naturally has an appreciation for the physical play.
Hockey is a full contact sport, tying up a forward is a necessity, no way around that.
