I don't believe they're doing the fan voting this year. The entire thing has been overhauled.

Top fan voter from each division is a captain and then the NHL players association picks the remaining players. At least 1 from each team. No more east vs. west its 4 division teams and they play 3 v 3 for only a 20 minute game switching sides at 10 minute mark. Its a tourney style.

Hitting on 2 when you are routinely drafting low or have no first at all is pretty good.

The Sabres drafted Ennis, and Girgensons if you even consider him a top 6 player right now.

I don't count Eichel or Reinhart as they are the Toews and Kane

I'm starting to lose hope that any of those players mentioned will be top 6. Still need a lot of time and a long way to go before they can even crack the roster, let alone be a top player. Not exactly lighting up the minors.

It would be nice if they ended up being 3rd line consistent contributors as they would be cheap, which would allow the team to both draft a big time winger in 2016 while being able to sign one in FA either next year or more likely the year after.

It would greatly help the team if at least one of Florentino, Martin, or Guhle turned into a diamond or near diamond.
