Yes.... and he's "expendable" as opposed to Hornquist or Malkin having to be the ones playing tough. Take the 5 minute major, take the game misconduct, take the suspension.

Or, if Rob Scuderi ever wants to get out of every fans' doghouse, this would be a perfect time to ram Dirty Dubinsky's head into the boards. Then when he's KO'd on the ice, cross check him a few times again. Take a page right out of his own playbook.

This isn't a playoff game, and the outcome as far as winning or losing is much less important than showing the rest of the league that a dirty bastard will get exactly what's coming to him. Now who has the guts to do it?

That's really funny, like Scuderi gives a shyte if he's in the fans doghouse.

If you sneezed on Gretzky, it was a penalty

True, but he also had plenty of teammates who would physically stick up for him

Interesting that you correctly pointed out that it has been happening for 3 years, in '13-'14 the Pens had guys like Bortuzzo, Engelland, Sill, Vitale, Glass and Orpik in the lineup and yet it still happened, in '14-'15 they had guys like Downie, Lapierre and Bortuzzo in the lineup and yet it still happened. You basically just showed exactly why you don't need those type of players on the roster, this stuff happens whether they are there or not.

How many times did Dubinskly "pay the price". Pretty much never. So...

Call someone up for a specific game and pummel his ass.....and tell him he's getting one every game until he quits.

So basically you're suggesting they bring up someone who is willing to assault Dubinsky and you think the league is going to tolerate that?

Ok looks like those BJ arise wipes are really getting agitated or is it they are trying to agitate?

If the latter we need control (remember Yoda - PP score we will), if the former it's good to see but we have to score because those (frank)ers will get some luck this period (the zebs will make sure of that!!!!). Keep them hot but score FFS!

So the league isn't going to tolerate something like that, but they're willing to tolerate an assault on their supposed poster boy? Laughable. I'm not sure what NHL you've been watching all these years.

The question I have for you is which one of those crap though guys you mentioned ever done anything to Dubinsky. That guy never, ever get's back what he gives to the Pens.

They did 25 years ago when Ulfie dropped Cam Neally and Milbury brought up 6 goons the next game to take out the Ulf man, I think Mario made that imbecile Milbury pay for that choice though.

There's a big difference between the play Dubinsky made and deliberately running someone in retaliation, which if I'm understanding you correctly is exactly what you are suggesting.

And speaking watching the NHL, I question which league you have been watching if you think the league has an issue with what Dubinsky did.

How 'bout the Isle/Pens games a few years ago? There was a bunch of fines and suspensions to some bums but I'm sure Mario would be glad to write a check if they take out the creep that continually try's to hurt his stars.

Coach finally works up the cojones to challenge something.

He's right to do it, but let's see if the refs ignore it anyway.

Actually Mario came out and said that if that was how the league was going to be then he no longer wanted to be part of the league anymore.

Let's take this one step farther, assume they do have someone that pummels Dubinsky, do you expect Columbus to just say "oh well, he had it coming to him so fairs fair"? Or is it more logical to assume that if someone takes out Dubinsky they are going to come after our stars even harder to retaliate for taking out Dubinsky?

i think the goal was pretty much in before hartnell did anything, but at least the coach showed hes still awake for a change.

poopty, bad angle goal to have creep in. it happens though. ive liked the way theyve played since the dubi crosscheck. just keep grinding.

Who says it's retaliation? Just part of the game.....just like what Dubi's been doing to Sid.

Better not be a goal, there's no way, completely hindered his ability to get over there. And you should not be able to take that kind of liberty.

Bingo.

That goal's no way on Fleury -- and I see we have the Minus Twins, Letang & Cole, back together again.

fleury has been great.

really, there isn't anyone that theyre regularly pairing with letang that meshes. scuderi and cole both just wont work.

i still think their best hope is maatta long term, when he gets back.
